PGA TOUR 2K21 Gameplay Tutorial - Understanding Elevation and Lie Percentage Affect on Distance. In today's tutorial video, I will teach virtual golfers how to properly adjust to elevation changes and different lie percentages. I will provide calculations and numbers to help players, and will provide instruction on live shots.

Here are example calculations:
- Elevation: divide how many feet uphill or downhill by 3. For uphill distances, the number will tell you how many yards will be taken off from your shot. For Downhill distances, the number will tell you how many yards will be added to your shot.
- Lie Percentages: choose the percentage in the middle of the two numbers shown and use this in your calculations for distance.

Been putting this in to practice and it's fun. Only had the game a week and it's much more fun on pro, calculating everything yourself rather than just hitting a shot

Looking for help on elevation settings. I have Xbox x and all I get foe R elevation changes in 2k23 pga is distance tee to green but no change in elevation differences either in driving or putting, getting very frustrating. Please help with game system settings to achieve this . Thanking you in advance.

So what difficulty level are you playing on? if you are on anything less than default pro, the game will go ahead and make the elevation calculations for you and will not be shown. If you have the pro vision difficulty setting turned off, the elevation number should show up in the hud next to the flag.

Hi i just wanted to know about dividing by 3 i heard after a certain yardage you divide by 4 say when its 70 ft down

Yes when you get to around 70 feet and beyond you will use 4 or even 5 in some extreme examples. Hope this helps!

I notice that your version shows elevation in feet. I play on the PC accessed using Stadia. My display does not show the elevation. Can you advise how to turn this on please?

Change to the following difficulty settings: 1. Course Yardage: On. 2. Pro vision elevation turned off (if on the game will automatically account for the feet uphill or downhill and it will not show up how many feet; I always recommend turning all the pro vision settings off). 3. Scout camera: on. 4. Aim Marker: On. Next go to Settings - Display and Hud and check these settings: 1. Show Flag Marker: On. 2. Distance Info Position: On Marker Hope this works! Let me know if this resolves your issue!

@@GamerAbility Thank you very much for taking the trouble to answer. Now, in a display of breathtaking impertinence what key press do I use for previewing putts?

@@adriantwiss600 You're welcome! Are you referring to putt preview? or how to zoom in to look at putt? Putt preview on mouse and keyboard is ` (above tab and left of 1) and on controller is the A button. To zoom in or look around to read the green you will using Y and then move the thumbstick down and up or left and right to navigate on controller. To do this on mouse and keyboard you will hit the space bar and then hold the left mouse button and move the mouse around to review/read the green. Hope this helps!
