Great video again. After watching your videos I've reduced from shooting 11 over par on pro to 5. I had a 3 over par last night. Funnily enough, it's my putting letting me down. Managed this nice chip though... gamerdvr.com/gamer/antmania1/video/108384288

I use a system very similar, but I assign 30 clicks to a grid square. This way you don't have to count and hope they were all the same. Works for me....

I like that suggestion a lot! Sounds like it would be very effective on the big breakers, such as a 120 click breaker. I may adapt this into my system! I appreciate you sharing this!

Definitely works. Nailed a bunch of putts lastnight and still a work in progress. Being able to pin the number on the lines moving is really the only tough job. Whether a 4-5-6-8 but it WORKs! Appreciate the video! Game on

the TGCT tours allows chipping on the greens for distances 75 ft and over OR if there is an obstruction to your putting line

Yeah, this is true. I like to try to get those 100 foot highlight reel putts, so I usually only chip if there is an obstruction or if I need to hit it farther than 140 feet.

nice video, but as i c, your always move distance point, if its set xxyards, its ok to put, your not gone hit it to hard. sec: the brakes, a line who moves, you see speeds of lines, if you have left and right brakes (same speed), no need to count

Being new to the game, this should really help, especially with distance control. I am thinking you would be more accurate if you moved your clicks before setting distance as uphill putts with the point being further back, each click ends up being very slightly smaller and the down hill putt the clicks end up being bigger the more downhill you are. This would give you a consistent point so the clicks are having the same effect on each putt no matter how far uphill or downhill you are. Great methodology though

Great video. I noticed in this video you moved the aim stick back more when you were off a little. What effect does moving it back more have on the ball instead of moving the break farther right or left. I also assume you could move it closer too in some situations? Thanks Richard

Thank you! In some cases, I chose to aim further when correcting instead of moving more left and right to take more of the break out of it. If you feel confident in your line sometimes all you need to do is hit it harder to take some of the break out of it. On the other hand, if you hit it softer the putt will actually break more; I use this strategy often for more down hill putts. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions!

So what is the maximum number used when reading the green?

Ok so im a noob, have 8 hours in the game and my putting was awful, after this tutorial i improved my medium to long putts immensely, its a bit hard to assign the numbers though as they feel quite subjective sometimes, sometimes i feel like its 10, sometime 5 im not sure yet, but it is much more accurate than just averaging the slopes in my head like i did before...

Yeah this will get much better with time. The more you assign numbers to each putt and learn when you under assign or over assign certain breaks it will greatly improve. And you are right that assigning the numbers is very subjective. But it allows for you to react and improve based on whether you under assigned or over assigned certain grids watch each round. Keep having fun out there!

Last qyestion I hope. I understand about 3/4 of your sheets but we got the same idea my math is a little different. The true lone question is more for your expertise as a game designer. What pretty much is the stand size of a Green grid box 2x2 3x3 4x4??? Believe it or not with my math it will help. Thanks. Few minor glitches but knocked 4 strokes off first tournament in Beer League ( I'm actually in CC-I)

They are 3ft by 3ft on my monitor and resolution, But keep in mind this may be different for your monitor and resolution. You can map this out by moving your marker to the front of a grid line and seeing the distance and then move it to the next grid line to see how many feet it is. Hope this helps!

You need to do this without power meter or putting preview on Master settings for TGCT Tours

Yes, I have used this same method on the tgctours since it started. I only had the distance control meter and putt preview on for tutorial purposes. I always play without the power bar, no putt previews, and play on master difficulty when in TGCTours.
