I was wondering if you can extract a cell from a developing embryo for genetic testing, could you extract a cell to turn into a twin of that developing embryo to get more possible embryos to implant.

I think you are referencing cloning the embryo -- I'm sure that blastocysts donated for research (rather than discarded) they are attempting to do that.
