The reality of how the idols don't have the freedom to choose what they want to do really sucks. I hope Ashley doesn't put too much pressure on herself, eventually she'll be more creative again. I will always cherish for her
@meenaasian4 жыл бұрын
it's not just idols too. that's why being independent in the Music Industry is ideal but not always successful. in any label, even in America, there will be decisions made for you. it's just painted differently so we think they make all the decisions even if they say the do, they really don't.
@smokinonyourtop53 жыл бұрын
In the idol industry, I love how pretty much all of the idols/ trainees in YGEnt have some kind of independence to come up with their own ideas. That’s why YG artists are respected in the K-hiphop scene as well. Especially, GD, TOP and MINO have already established their artistic ability not only through music, but also art and fashion.

I almost cried hearing Ashley because it hits home so bad, but hearing how ph1 talked about being creative and going through that slump really motivated me. Also I hate waiting for the moment to get inspired, be productive and have the energy to work on something. But just initiating and forcing yourself to be productive can help overcoming what your going through even though it's really hard and sounds like it would probably make it worse. I noticed with myself that I stopped enjoying the thing I was working so hard for. It made me angry and at the same time I couldn't give it up and became more passionate. It made me think "nothing is gonna take my desires and hard work away let's keep working hard and enjoy". Sometimes the struggle makes you grow stronger, more passionate and the end result is more rewarding than ever.
@solmihkim46474 жыл бұрын
EXACTLYY!! I can totally relate because the creative slump will always be there. And definitely at times it’s upsetting bc people tend to question if what they’re doing is what they’re passionate about. But sometimes we just need to intentionally put ourselves in that position to realize that we enjoy it. However, if you realize that you are forcing yourself into doing something for the wrong reasons, it’s always good to step back and reflect!!

I relate but at the moment; I just took time off from my art, and I'm trying to focus more on school. And when I feel more creative, I'll pick up where I left off.
@yousamezian4 жыл бұрын
@@comfort1569 that's nice. We should move in our own pace. Taking time off is also a great thing to do, because it can make you feel more motivated when you can continue the thing you loved and it shows how big your passion is for something. Sometimes we find out that we don't enjoy it as much as we thought and it was more of a burden. It's good to reflect during those breaks

This was such a good advice. Its not like you can be creative 24/7, not being creative or not doing dope stuff is great too , the output you put is what matters, whether its creative or not. I hope Ashley keeps practicing , its okay to be not creative sometimes, I think its just the way our brain works.

3:50 This spoke to me so much. Just keep writing music, drawing, singing, or any other skills you want to hone into so when you do get a "Creativity Block" or " Zone" that way you are getting use to being creative. Practice and condition yourself to be in that creative space. I like that ph-1. That is wonderful advice.

I hope people realize that some idols are really being hold back. It's not because they don't want to be creative, it's because their companies provide them to do that, specially with girl groups. I hope Ashely don't pressure herself and that companies further allow and also even encourage more to their artist to take their own decisions and be part of the creative process of their music *sorry for my english*

Been really depressed lately and my job is creative so this really helped. My problem is judging myself, which I never did as a kid, but if I make 100 things and only 10 are good I could always just throw the other 90 away and it's no big deal. But making 100 things creates the habit, like pH-1 said, and that's the most important part. After you set the habit you'll naturally improve and grow. I forgot that I did that as a kid without even thinking about it. Gonna make a plan and start tomorrow, or hell today, even better. Thanks guys!! Can't wait for the full episode 👍

@cinamongirl98784 жыл бұрын
True😭 blackpink pretty sure know how to make music because if they did monthly evaluation they said they have to compose and write their own lyrics,but since debut they got songwriter who work for then and they just have to follow all of what is given to them.
