I was really excited about this case and the ability to build two systems. Now, I bought it to build the ultimate dual system with a crazy water cooling setup. But, what I got was a case full of compromises with the radiator fitment. It was the "If you use this you can't use that syndrome" It was very frustrating, I couldn't build the system the way I wanted. For most users though, who are only building one system, this shouldn't be a problem.

I used to have the superflower 2000w psu shown in the vid. It was thicc and noisy, like 1000-1200rpm fans at idle is way too much noise and I was going nuts over the noise since my cpu and case fans were only at 500-700rpm. I had to search up reviews of that psu and I noticed that the fans were spinning really fast even at low power draw. The fan noise was too much for me to handle so I sold it and bought an ax1600i. It taught me a lesson that psu tech has advanced over the years and 0rpm mode and fan speed and noise should be taken into consideration when buying a psu, not just the efficiency and wattage.

PSU’s really have advanced far for the last fewq years. I’m not that keen on 0rpm modes however. I prefer PSU’s with big and very low spinning fans. As long as everything is on a high quality standard you won’t hear it anyway. But it kinda reassures me that the ‘main’ thibg that can catch power is minally cooled 😅 But yeah, nobody should learn the lesson of going for a cheap PSU. To high for a risk

I've just started a build in one of these, and so far I'm pretty impressed. The only downside, is that I haven't built a PC from parts in like 20 years and this thing has so many fancy features that it's a bit overwhelming at first glance. And the manual isn't really over-flowing with detail. That said, I think I've got a pretty good handle on how my build is going to go now. Hoping to have it finished up by this weekend so I can start using the new machine.

Phanteks enthoo 719 is a great case. I really like the black version I have. Big yes, but also a ton of options and space inside. I have a aircooled dual system build in this case and since the case is designed for it. It works great. A mini-itx pc with a Ryzen 5 5600X cpu, B550 asus board and a rtx a2000 gpu. The atx has a Ryzen 9 5950X, asus x570 dark hero board with a rtx 4090 gpu and lots of other stuff packed inside it. Great case, simply put it.

also another point, you can mount additional 2.5 inch drives on those plates that go into the 120mm fan spaces, the plastic ones that clip in and out, thats how i have my ones set up

This is probably the most perfect case... solid build, fans enough to cool a nuclear plant, plenty of room (can fit 2 systems even), a little bit of RGB gimmick but hey, that is the cherry on top and the price is very balanced for what you get, there are other "premium" cases that cost 4/5 times as much as Phanteks' case and they might perform worse.. however great video as always, I don't like long, boring explanations but this case really had to be broken down and explained from head to toe because man this case is just perfect, maybe too OP for normal use or gamers, but for content creators and long use this is a absolute break for the buck, as a 3D artist myself this case seems really cheap and once you buy and maintain it, it can last for a really long time and make the investment worth it

Did anyone find this review a bit annoying? If the reviewer felt the case was too large, well, he should only review laptops.
@atlantic_love
@atlantic_love 2 жыл бұрын
@@chesslover6238 I think your criticism is a bit harsh. For a pc builder who isn't into liquid cooling, the case will simply be a waste of space. Stuffing a gozillion fans in there just to fill up space looks silly. For someone who isn't looking for a dual system (IMO a NAS should be stand-alone and sit on the network) it's going to be wasted space. I'm really liking the case because of its sheer size, but I readily admit that this is a niche product. Why not create the same case WITHOUT the dedicated area for a secondary system, and MORE room for running cables? The problem for many, myself included, is that your typical ATX case doesn't leave much room for cooling with fans, and generally looks like a ball of yarn with cables scattered no matter how well things are tied off. Yet, a case like this has too many bells and whistles for the typical enthusiast. And that Phantek would go the route of using plastic for trim just sits badly with me. When case companies start down that route, it's lights out. I agree with you that man-splained a bit too much.

I just bought this case and holy shit! It’s HUGE! But overall, they did a great job a making this case, it’s very easy to use/figure out, tons of rooms for cable management/storage/cooling. The size is a bit overkill imo now having it right in front of me, but f it lmao. It’s gonna like nice when it’s done. Really solid case!

Told you their anti sag bracket works 😆. I see this case used for workstation builds alot with quad gpus, its a great case. Its one of the cases im cosidering for a high end build just by it sheer water cooling capacity. Not to mention it looks really clean. Btw the pro2 is the more "plasticized" version of this case, the elite is the metal big brother.

I have a question: would this case be okay for someone who falls under this demographic? * not using liquid cooling * not running a dual system * wanting lots of space for fans It's a stunning-looking case, but I don't want to do overkill in building my pc. Yet, I also don't want a system where cables and everything are crammed in.

I have this case and the revolt x psu as sometimes i take apart my itx pc and place it into this case. Regarding the case itself i love it so much like seriously, i cannot find fault in how beautiful it is except for one major thing, its size restricts some cable lengths and if doing a full rgb fan build with controllers the rear area even with the cable cover can become very hard to work in and allow the back panel to close. Overall never switching it out. 10/10

You just mount the gpu with the only support being the back of the case no support or anything?
@atlantic_love
@atlantic_love 2 жыл бұрын
I don't think that natively there is any other support you can use. Case manufacturers either need to come up with a double screw bracket system (top and bottom) or have a slots near the card lanes for inserting supports.

Were the side fans intake? Also were the bottom fans exhausted?
@AgentAmerica
@AgentAmerica 2 жыл бұрын
ok so you do realize the case has nothing to do with fans being intake or exhaust. It literally depends on the way you install the fan.... Fans only blow one way. Depending on which way you face the fan is the way the wind blows.

I don't think vertically mounting the GPU is good on the Phanteks cases, if you close the door the GPU will get quite hot, due to restricted air flow

Not only that, but I ran into the perfect scenario yesterday where having a window to display the SSD's would be perfect. I have been trying to get my system to recognize a 1TB SSD I put in using eSATA, but I couldn't remember which SATA it was using. This might be a case where you mark the SSD indicating which port it's using, and then you could see that from the window? :D

Evolv X was my favorite case ever made so when I wanted a new case for a new build I looked at phantek and saw this, the build quality in this case while better then most competitors is nothing compared to the all metal Evolv x, and the front panel removal and putting back is SHIIT. I have spent 30 minutes trying to get the front panel back on. I know how it goes back on and it will not go back on unless I want to force or risk breaking one of the shitty plastic clips, fuck phentek for going from a great quality build to a more expensive yeah much more plastic crap build.
