I'm planning to move my system to this case, with a full custom loop. Looking forward to your next build video.

I cant wait to see what you do with it. Btw, thanks to you, I did a successful delid on my 6700k, and did my first custom loop. The hard line set up is next. Have an awesome day!

I have this case and i have a 280 (yes 280 not 240) on top for CPU and 120 rear for GPU. It's a pretty good case overall very strong built , but the tainted/black skinned glass on the backside is welcome bacause of the cables, there not so much space to do a correct/clean cable managment. I have 2x140mm intake front and yeah it's still hot inside but i have my fan seeting on silent, GPU fan not turning till 50° and CPU is à 800rpm till 50° too so i'm ok with that.

How long is that reference card? I wonder if my GPU would fit into that case with 360mm AIO. My GPU is 286mm long.

100% agree about it looking weird being taller than it is wider. Unfortunately wouldn't consider the case because of this. I'd want them to trim that useless chunk of space above the motherboard (most people will front mount) radiators, and give the case a bit of extra depth. I'd also rather a clear glass panel on the back (rather than the blacked out panel) like the ATX Evolv, and no PSU shroud - kind of a personal preference though.

I'm actually planning on removing the PSU shroud, but let's keep that between you and I ;-)

If you do ever decide to do it... Please do record it on video/explain about whether or not a layperson could do it. Would be much appreciated! I'm hoping they release a tempered glass of the ITX version, and would love to take the PSU shroud off that!

What do you think about the Airflow? I don't know if you have seen Jays video but do you think it is good or at least better or just as bad?

I have the original evolv matx and I can confirm that the airflow is a huge problem; I am actually going to get rid of mine due to that issue :(

Airflow in these cases only becomes a real issue with AIOs and custom water cooling loops. I myself have a wc loop in the ATX version and also can confirm it gets quite hot in it. But with some tricks temps can be decreased by a huge amount. I did the top fan cavity mod and covered the holes on the bottom and next to the top rad and the water temp already decreased by over 10 degrees. I am planning to mod the top and front cover to further increase airflow but this requires a cnc. Yes this is an awesome case but only with some fine tuning and modding.

SunRed I choose to change cases instead ^^. You should have a look at the mod my mods website they sell a mod for both the top and front. It would probably be the easiest way :)

André Paulos Yeah I already saw that one but sadly I am from Europe and shipping might be a bit expensive. But maybe I will have a second thought on that one, thank you. :) Did you already choose a new case or are you still looking? Would be interested what you chose.

SunRed I live in France ^^. After looking around for a long time I decided to go for the mastercase pro 3

I want to see this build with a 360mm radiator on the front. There have been no examples of it that I have seen.... Will a radiator fit in the front with a larder GPU like the asus strix range?
@v.aesthetic37647 жыл бұрын
I will be using a 280 in the front, although a 360 would work. I'm pretty sure the Strix will fit with a slim radiator.
@abushboy7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info! If the 280mm rad doesn't fit in the front then I will put it in the top as an exhaust and use normal fans for the front. The strix card is 29cm long...

are the fans which come with the MATX pwm? or 3-pin?
@v.aesthetic37645 жыл бұрын
I don’t remember exactly but I’m pretty sure they are just 3 pin
