Today, we're taking a look at the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv mATX case in a Galaxy Silver finish. But first...
What am I drinking?
My favorite cocktail, an Old Fashioned. A very simple whiskey cocktail, but surprisingly difficult to find a well made one out in the wild where I live. Most of the time if it's even on the menu, they've tried to spruce it up by making it with maple syrup, Sprite, cherries, or any other number of additives. Whiskey... bitters... sugar... orange garnish. That's it, and it's perfect.
Get the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv mATX case here: amzn.to/2xPyFdL
Now, enter the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv. A dual tempered glass panel case with very modern flair. The aluminum is very striking in person, and set against the darker glass panels, it does give a very space-age vibe.
All of the modern features are there, 2.5" + 3.5" drive support, RGB controller onboard, support for up to 6 120mm fans or 5 140mm fans. Radiator support abounds, although there are reports of limited air flow when running water cooling in this case, especially populating the front intake with a rad. Your results may vary.
The case is stunning in person, and would make a great showpiece for any high-end PC build.
Thanks for watching. Like, Subscribe, Comment. Now if you don't mind, I have another old fashioned to make.

A previous build of mine was using the ITX version of this chassis, it was a joy to work in. Chose the Phanteks P400-TG for my latest build though. Also holy crap ice cube ball.

I also used a Corsair H110i GTX on the top panel. My i5 4690k topped at 40~45C, depending on the load, and my GTX 970 never went over 50C even over long gaming sessions. I left the front panel on and even used all the stock fans, primarily because they're good and rather quiet! The gpu fans were louder than the case fans. I normally get rid of my old cases that I once used in older builds but this one's not one I'll be letting go any time soon. :) My next computer is going to require a case with ATX mobo support so I won't be using my Enthoo Evolv for it but I found a Cooler Master HAF XM that fits the bill nicely and doesn't look too bad. If I can get a good bargain on it, I'll be housing my next build and the build I'm planning after it.

I have one of those, a black one with the acrylic panel. I don't regret buying it. Its such a nice package. :)

I just built a Ryzen 5 system in one - I am not a gamer, I primarily do high end photo editing/manipulation as well as general PC use, so I am not ever going to get my system as hot as someone rendering videos or of course gaming all day. That said, I am using a very cheap (£9.99) cpu cooler which has it's own fan, and the two stock fans that come with the case. I have it running all day long and the CPU temp so far has not risen past 33 degrees C, in fact I don't seem to be able to get it any warmer! The motherboard is a constant 40 degrees C (I believe the sensor is in the area of the mosfets) and the GPU (a GTX1050ti 4GB) is also rock steady at 36 degrees C. In short, for gaming or similar loads I guess heat may be an issue but for general use it is more than capable of sufficient cooling. I'm over the moon with mine, and highly recommend it.

They have actually made a larger front intake for this case specifically :)

Torned between the Anticite Grey or this Silver one. They won't let you open the box in the store. What do you think looks best, and why that?

I'm a big fan of the Silver. If you've ever seen a G5 or Mac Pro tower, this has a very similar finish. The grey is nice as well, more of a gun metal type look to it, but has less contrast between the metal and the glass.
