@grendle7 well if they were so perfect... they are truelly not. i have seen rtamin karimloo and sierra boggess at the royal albert hall 2011, and they did real justice to the original, but yet improved the OLD version. sarah brightman has quite some high notes, but isnt always in the right hight and goes false. if you know what i mean. sierra never ever went false before in live performances. conclusion: stop complaining about that old things were much better, and that the new things suck.

MC's voice is good but.. weird. Not Phantom like. And the girl who plays Christine keeps swallowing her voice and doesn't sound like the innocent girl first discovering passion, like Christine is supposed to.. She just sounds weird.

alremul Say what you will about Brightman, but, in my opinion, MC is the best Phantom. He's talented, but... Off. Not quite right, ya know? He's a crazy person obsessed with opera. I feel MC best portrayed that perfect balance of talent and psychosis. His maniacal laugh after declaring revenge after his reprise of All I Ask of You gives me chills every time.
