Spanish is the second most prominent language spoken in America. I live in Florida and I can tell you some Spanish can really help. The Spanish conspiracy bit fell flat. Dora is an American show and teaching American children some Spanish is more helpful than not if you’d like your child to have an edge in the workforce, if anything. It’s also great development to have bilingual education.

I quite like the rest of your list, and would add Floogals, Clangers, Nina's World, and perhaps Bob the Builder (if only for the theme song). If you think that's bad you should have read the books. In one of them Rosie had just been born and was coming home from the hospital so everyone's attention was on her. This makes Caillou very jealous. So after they put her in her crib to go to sleep he goes into her room gives her a hug and then he bites her as hard as he can.And do you want to know what his parents do? I work with kids so I've seen tons of kids cartoons. Peppa Pig is actually really strange... the things said sometimes makes me gasp because its just rude. But its like, hidden in the show. Jake and the Neverland Pirates is one of the most annoying shows I've ever seen. It makes an effort to be good but it teaches kids horrible lessons and the characters are one dimensional to the point where kids want to be like the villain instead because he's portrayed as funny. Strawberry Shortcake (the newer version) is another "girls" show that depicts girls doing nothing but giggling, getting into silly drama, and fashion. Zig and Sharko- This is one I had to tell kids not to watch anymore. Its just a way to keep kids in front of the tv by turning their brains to mush. A couple good kids shows I've discovered that I never hear about are Wild Kratts and Busytown Mysteries.

Even as a young child I hated when shows did that. I knew even then I was just watching a show, and the characters couldn't really hear me. So it'd always result in a long awkward pause while the character waits for an answer. Even the 4-year-old me at the time got second-hand embarrassment from it that I do now whenever I see a show do it.
