My Mother took vit d daily for decades and still got dementia. She grew up on a apple farm, so they ate what they grew. It did take her a bit to accept hearing aids. In retirement, she ate out a lot. After she had her eyes surgery for cataracts is when her short term memory was noticeable. Eye drops warned they may cause temporary short term memory, which it did in her case, but her memory didn't improve. She cooked in aluminum pans 1960s, 1970s and ate a lot of canned goods as an adult. Foods today have poison additives in them causing cardiovascular disease which can lead to dementia. My mother was active all her life, even in retirement landscaping evefyday for 3 hours and walking a mile or two.
