I have a doubt in CHF, u said venodilators decrease preload and hence increase c.o but in antihypertensive u said sod. Nitroprusside decrease preload and decrease cardiac output

If preload is reduced, it obviously leads to reduced cardiac output. So, please make the correction. Venodilators will reduce preload as well as afterload
