Exactly why I came on here tonight to listen to all the different "Happy" videos with its writer, Pharrell, singing and so many different people all over this world dancing and lip-synching to it. Among all the misery of this blasted Covid-19 pandemic, with so many people dying (and some animals perishing, too), and with all the dead and maimed from hurricanes and the burning forests from California to the bushland of Australia -- we all need more of Pharrell's great song "Happy." Thank you, Pharrell, for giving us a song that we can turn to, for its uplifting lyrics as much as for its rhythmic and soaring music.

Yeah my momma was black but looked white and she my father and brother lived in New York. My mother took my big brother to the Apollo. Needless to say they were not welcomed warmly because my brother was darker than she. However today she would fit it in with Mr. Williams audience just fine. I like him just fine.
