In a world where all caster loot funnels to you alone, this list makes perfect sense. With that being said, Im personally aiming for a more practical build that is easy to accomplish. Nemesis helm, shoulders, and belt ; bloodvine chest, legs, and boots ; ebony gloves and then the rest is just the best stuff i can acquire.

You forget about tier 2 helm and shoulders. With raw stats they are not looking as good as other options from BWL or PvP but with adding 3 set bonus it starting to be pretty equal. You also have to consider two things - we already have to use t2 belt so it's easier to get bonus and second and most important thing is Mish'undare helm and Mantle of the Blackwing Cabal are BiS for mages until Naxx. Warlocks will change these items for Doomcaller so if your guild using loot council it's better to give mages prio for this items.

This is exactly what I was seeing as well; Im trying to see it in my mind where you can get the 3 piece bonus from bloodvine, 3 piece from T2 and 2 piece from Pvp Rank 10 but it just doesnt quite add up

As long as we're using nemesis belt using nemesis shoulders and helm over blackwing cabal and hexxer's cover might be better and easier to get since blackwing cabal might be a contested item like mishundare.

Yea I think thats better because the 23sp from the 3 piece is more than your missing out from the shoulders and head compared to blackwing and hexxers (41->32, 34->23) which is only 20sp

As you mention mages often get prio for Mish'Undare. In phase 5 mages are also going for the Mantle of Blackwing Cabal for their BiS list. Im surprised you didn't mention using Nemesis helm and shoulders, which actually gives more spell power than using Hexxer's cover and Mantle of the blackwing Cabal. That is what i personally will be going for while saving up some more goodwill from the mages for those sweet AQ drops :)

I've run the numbers for expected damage from shadowbolt, Jindo's bag is slightly lower value than AV offhand Tome of Shadow force -- my setup is Bloodvine, T2 helm shoulders belt, Felheart bracers, Felcloth Gloves, Band of Dark Dominion, Maiden's Circle, Briarwood Reed, Neltharion's Tear, Tome of Shadow Force, and Skul's Ghastly Touch... it's very marginal, with an expected damage difference of maybe 1-2 points, and I'm sure that once you upgrade any of these pieces that Jindo's bag will take priority, but I doubt it will be significant.

Is it worth sacrificing the pvp head and go with the pvp-gloves and replace the head with Bloodvine Goggles? You'll lose 1% crit and some int. But gain 2% hit and 9mp5. The other gloves that I have available are Nemesis Gloves or Felcloth Gloves.

I follow you for your knowledge of warlock BiS, if you want to create new material that doesnt pertain to Wow, more power to ya. i probably wouldnt watch it unless it seemed interesting. im not sure what you had in mind. but if you're looking for content ideas maybeeeee... go in depth on boss fights from a warlock position- how to: parse. perhaps trash as well. these bite sized videos are nice because theyre quick and to the point. there are few warlock content creators so maybe link up with one of them and discuss warlocks and what you guys do differently in your guilds to help each other perform. BTW i am one of those lucky warlocks who managed to get their hands on a tear. it really feels good.

For the gear level here, even for short, 30 second fights, I'm still getting 1% hit = around 13-14SP using a dps spreadsheet. In that case isn't Band of Dark Dominion + Ring of Spell Power (forced concentration is too expensive in my guild) still better than the Zanzil's 2 set? What is your stat weighting for 1% hit for you to prefer zanzil's 2 set (and bag of whammies vs AV OH)?

@aids I don't think thats how it works and hit stacks better than spell damage once you get over 400 SP. You get way more value from hit once you get over 6% anything below that you won't see much difference. Am not saying he doesn't know what he is saying but I don't think he has really looked into this, I ask you this question what basis have you come up with 2 hit is 25 - 30 SP? Not trying to be rude.

@aids I think people are just not taking into account the full picture when it comes to hit vs SP and try to add a value to it. You can pick up 7% hit gear in BWL and 1% in MC and 1% in Strath live. That 9% Hit far out weights any SP math people have come up with. So you don't need to wear some awful 3 pc blue set to get hit gear. ZG has some nice hit gear that you can wear like the cape and rings and also a neck pc (just off the top of my head). This best in slot sheet he had shown was good but hes missing alot of easy to get gear for some reason. Just want to point one thing out, hit is percentage base value so you can have bad luck with hit chance against a boss fight. Just like rolling the dice at a casino.
