Dude I was blessed enough to win Dark Storm Gauntlets, Eyestalk Waist Cord, Cloak of the Devoured (& Vanquished Tentacle) from C'Thun in our first 3 weeks in AQ (we use a loot list, with bonus for attendance, /rolls dkp) It's incredible how much these phase 5 items have beefed us up. Also scored the first 99 parse in 40 from our guild. Love the content. Will continue to watch!

@@Comtruice This is most likeley how i propose it to our LC. T2.5 Head will be given to who does not have mish'undare yet. Wondering about best distribution for C'Thun eye, would rather low prio mages here (specially if they have tear) since they can replace it in naxx, while for the other 3 Casters this will most likeley be bis forever and I think for some/all healers aswell.

Great guide! For the trash farming set, would it be better to keep both Mantle of BC and Ebony Flame gloves, and instead swap bracers for Rockfury? As you said, we only need 1% hit from those 3 slots, and rockfury only sacrifice 1 SP from Burrower Bracers, while the shoulders and gloves sacrifice a lot more

Great video, from testing AQ 20 on ptr can confirm that mobs have a significant amount of fire resistance, was getting 50% resists with curse of elements.

Use both in any fight where you have enough time to activate both. Most trash mobs your obviously not going to have the time, so sub 1 out with eye of the best or briarwood reed, which ever you have. I prefer to roll with ToEP an eye in these situations but it really comes down to your spell damage and crit to decide which to use

On bosses you should use both, but if you can't for some reason then ZHC is better per use. Ie. ZHC is better, unless the fight is 2 minutes long so toep gets 2 activations

toep if only better in 90-120s fights where you could only get 1 activation of ZHC vs 2 activations of the toep. You get about 100 more damage per trinket use from the ZHC.

Right. We had 3 cloaks drop at start of ZG and since then... NONE have dropped with a supposed "20 percent" drop rate. To boot... our caster loot has been VERY bad in BWL. We have had ONE Nef trink, one staff, one mishundaire, an avg of 1.5 full sets of warlock T2. It was slow to gear in vanilla... but classic is busted. There is something off with the loot tables.

@Alive Do you value the Tier 3 six piece set bonus for threat reduction? The warlocks in my guild have agreed to pass both dark storm gauntlets and eyestalk waist cord in favor of the Tier 3 pieces respectively. You mentioned in your video threat should no longer be a concern for warlocks due to fury/prot tps and mage ignite. Warlock Tier 3 six piece bonus still seems too good to pass up.

that staff is going to be comparable to the nef staff for locks so its a good pickup for those going the 2h approach. good to avoid the high competition of 1h/oh too.

I think it did actually reflect the bolt,I don't have access to those logs though :( and was kinda nervous in that moment so I can't say for sure that it was not just one of the other locks hurling a bolt towards the guy

Great video Alive, but it seems like you forgot cloak of the broodlord from Nef for a non hit cloak that's comparable. 28 spell damage. if one doesn't have the AQ40 cloak then it could be a viable swap with the ZG cloak if you could find the other piece of hit elsewhere. Also would you really go no IMP SB for DS/Emberstorm? I thought the whole point of the spec was to pump more dmg and threat for the purpose of twin emps tanking, but simply using shadowbolt for the rest of the raid since if your guild pumps losing imp lifetap is w/e and you might not even have a corruption slot anyways once ignite and arcanite dragonling come online. Cataclysm is such a small small difference anyways and I really doubt searing pain main nuking will be threat viable. Not to mention having shadowburn for 1 talent as a finisher is going to come in handy far more often than your spells costing 1% less mana anyways. Interesting none the less. So I gather from your spec that you are going to black book machine gun imp into DS once it goes oom?

Also a viable option I think for the Bloodvine outfit. Blessed Qiraji Acolyte Staff over the Femur/Scepter combo. You only lose 16 SP and .71% crit for 1% hit 17 int 9 stam, bringing you up to 15% hit. With enchants you get 4074 Health 5098 Mana 580 Spell Power (flat 600 Shadow when people get Shadow Power glove enchant) 13.11% crit 15% hit

for trash i you want wrath of cenarius 100% also knows as the one wring that makes you King of trash. So ignore the crap he talks abou when it comes to Mindtear band & Rittsin hes smoking someting. for Bosses WOC is a no no, For every 100 times you cast a spell with this ring on, 5 casts will proc this effect. So hellfire oway :) proc is around 5-7% that was the numbers in vanilla. the ammound of Trash AQ have that makes the ring bis in every shape and form.
