Hey Willie - Great video One thing you might have missed, are the sharpening stones from the scourge invasion event. They give you 100 AP against undead, and are obtained by turning in 8 necrotic runes. A problem with them is, that they are unique to 20 per character, and once the invasion event is over, you can no longer obtain them. When we did it on a private server, we had everyone in the guild stack up on them, including casters, healers etc. So when the melee classes ran out, they could bug someone else to help them apply it to their weapon.

Classic was a beautifull Nostalgic trip. I quit shortly after BWL release cus i didn't feel like it was worth playing more, but it was really nice untill that point. The leveling, the pre-bis grind, end game quests... i had a REALLY good time untill it became all about raid-logging. With TBC i will get to relive this nostalgic trip, i will fucking do quests in nagrand... that's enough already if u ask me. But TBC is actualy a much better game overall mechanically speaking.

MarkXV nah, I never played vanilla and tried it to see what the hype was about. Wasn’t for me. I played tbc though and the biggest difference for me is the pvp scene. For as long as I’ve played wow, arena has been the main reason I’ve played the game

@@markmoretti27 I wouldn't expect too much of the arenas in Classic TBC. Everyone already know what comps are the best so if you don't follow them you won't get far. You will also probably play against teams who have played their comps on TBC private servers for a decade now. It will certainly be better than the PvP scene we have in Classic, but be careful with your expectations.

you don't need nature protection/poison cleansing elixirs on faerlina, you mind control an add and sacrifice it to silence her and remove her enrage which makes her tankable and also removes poison volleys, you really don't need protection potions of any sort on spider wing, even with private server overkill values you didn't need protection potions in spider wing.

Keep in mind that most classes won't use the full T3 shebang. Warlocks and mages in particular will only use 4-5 pieces of it, maybe 6. So check out the items and prepare the materials you need. Also a protip to the warriors who are gonna tank 4H, the fishboss in ZG drops a trinket that gives you 10% spell hit with a low cooldown. You can use this to massively reduce the chance of your taunts missing.

Biggest problem for us was the moment after teleport. The dds didnt stop their dmg right before teleport so they got aggro instantly and the casting twin starts to run to the dd. We stop dmg 4 sec before teleport can be happening so the melee tank gets the aggro instantly und wl tank can dps till he has aggro...no Range dd is closer to the casting twin then the wl. Melees killing the bugs while running to their twin to Support the Hunters get the bugs of the healers...no cleave/aoe dmg here so you dont add more bugs. And as everyone knows get out of the f***ing blizzard :-P! Your mana classes should use their mana potions as early as possible to use another or two later in this fight. I hope this should help you

1. Keep them far apart 2. No dps until the 2nd teleport, let tanks build aggro 3. No dps for 5 seconds before a teleport from melee. 4. Make sure melee tank fixes the position before a teleport cause ranged boss can not be moved afterwards 5. No aoe, avoid blizzard, avoid exploding add

There are guilds still struggling in AQ but yes I'm sure quite a few bosses in Naxx will be pretty easy. Just like AQ40. People still get hard stuck on Emps/c'thun. Our guild hasn't even attempted Viscidus in the last few weeks due to lack of engi's (luckily we convinced a few people to pick it up). BWL is a cakewalk compared to AQ. Anyways, great video! Liked. AQ is so much more fun than BWL, and I believe Naxx will be a great time with my guildies.

That's as much as 18000g, as little as 7500g depending on where/when you buy/sell them... You don't need to worry about investing gold anymore, you're good. You can ride 15k gold through all of classic and into tbc.

The scourge invasion provides you with the best sharpening stones vs undead. The physical dps one is +100 AP (and it even works for hunters despite most ap buffs being melee ap only) You can only farm those during the pre event - once naxx arrives you are left with whatever you could grind up

And as a fury tank he intends to rock 2.5 and says there's barely any loot from Naxx he actually needs. So I wouldn't be surprised if he peaces out after a few kills, if only so he doesn't have to collect world buffs anymore.

you could see the raids for sure. Once you hit 60 it's not too hard to get geared up but you gotta put time in get there and either work your way up to dungeon bis items or luck into a raid that'll carry you for a few weeks.

warriors are difficult to level solo, but at max level they are super op and very fun to play in raids. As for your other question it's possible. If you no life it you can definitely pull it off. If you're casual only playing a few hours a week, no. But if you can get max level you can progress fairly fast if you find a geared raid to take you under their wing.

For a first char, just playing as you like, around 14 days /played seems common. The record is under 5 days /played.

If you find a guild that'll take you to AQ/BWL while under-geared then it's possible ye. Most decent guilds can carry a few fresh 60's in the raids now.

Do they open new servers when they add new phases? I haven’t played since a few weeks after classic came out but I didn’t want to come back to an old server and be really far behind.

As someone who only plays a resto shaman and nothing else, this gives me more reason to quit. I can in no way, farm 17 Arcanite bars, 15 cured rugged hides, 2 mooncloth, and 8 nexus crystal. I'm just gonna wait until BC comes out, this is depressing

On the topic of consumes/world buffs... They are NOT needed for any instance, and never were. I went thru all the way to KT, my guild didn't bother with anything but ony/zg very casually, and we used elixirs for dps and flasks on tanks. The only reason people get these buffs is so they can parse higher. It has always been this way. Parsing is also a meme, I hit 90 parses with 0 world buffs and consumes... it's a total joke.

haha trust me casual guilds will struggle alot because they dont go overboard, the whole reason why classic is easy is because most ppl go overboard with minmaxing and wbuffs. thing is naxx was made for this patch, talents, itemization etc. not saying naxx will be hard, it will be easier than pservers, but casual or semi casual guilds will struggle trust me.

I agree, but unfortunately the pattern suggests it will not be hard. If they ban world buffs or limit characters to one world buff, things might be different.
