This is one of the better of this series. It's much less driven by the original plot and doing a lot more to make the characters distinct from the original. The main protag is still kind of the same as the original, commenting on the oddities of the world and being pretty passive to new things, but it's a bit too late to change their character. It's good to see the other characters being distinct and having new motivations that parody the original.
