Shizu's end always makes me sad. Clever move by the writer, since it was a good twist on the prophecy about her and Rimuru, but... I just really wish we could've seen how things could've turned out, had Rimuru been able to save her and keep her from aging to death...

I looked at fanfiction.net and found two stories that really feature her but one is an invisible companion guided by her soul and given shape by Rimuru's magic and the other abuses time manipulation to bring his back to the start of the series with his late series OP-ness. Only in one of those stories is she really immortal from what I can tell and that is because of Rimuru being the source of her body and when your source of your body is infinite you can't really die. There are not many stories for that fandom so even if you were to look over all of them it would take at most thirty minutes.
