Hii Sambit! thanks for the information sharing. I got a video interview next week from TU Delft, the interview is just 20 mins, including 7 min presentation + 10 min Question time + 3 min for me to ask questions. May I know how could I well prepare for this kind of so short initial interview? I guess the professor has quite a long list of candidates to interview, how could I be more impressive in the interview and get into the next phase. Sooooo thanks for ur help in advance!

You can choose anything but keep in mind that for English literature better to choose an English speaking country like UK or US rather than Europe where English is not the first language

Hi Sambit, thanks for the information. Can you please make a video on Collaborative Ph.D. positions like Cotutelle PhDs or sandwich programs? I have recently been offered a Joint Ph.D. position in UK and France in computer science. It's for three years. However, I am not sure if three years is enough time period.

Well after finishing PhD in 4.5 years myself, I find that it’s not sufficient even! What matters is how much you can achieve in a limited time frame with high pressure. So, 3 years is a short time but doable. Regarding joint PhD I will be interviewing someone whose PhD is for 3 years jointly in France and Belgium. If you want me to ask any specific questions then please post them here! :) :)

@@SambitPhD Thanks for your response. I am in the middle of the admission process for this joint program. The paperwork is complex and I am having second thoughts about my joining. I worked hard for this interview and selection process but now I am thinking if it will be like this forever. How will I be able to manage both supervisors and universities? How will I be able to produce scientific papers in this complex mobility pattern? Lastly, what are the benefits of Joint Ph.D. programs? I know some of the benefits but It would be helpful to know about them from someone who is actually pursuing a joint program. I would be grateful if you could kindly ask these questions.

Hi bro, Germany, Netherlands or any Nordic countries are always a good option. Just remember that Germany is good for Masters because of almost zero education. You can always switch countries during PhD and move out of Germany if needed!
