I can totally relate. Not exactly but slightly........ I'm going for a BSC from Nigeria to study in USA, I felt all this stress from getting a passport to getting a date for the interview, to securing housing only to get denied a visa on the 17th of July . I really pray everything works out for you , ilyssmmm . Your an inspiration to me🥺❤️💕

I feel this so bad, last year I studied at the University of California for a semester and everything was so hectic because I had to leave by the end of December and I was only told which campus I was going to in September and was only given access to all their portals in mid-November so I couldn't even do anything before that and it was so frustrating and they told us not to even book flights until we had our visas, etc. When I finally thank god got my visa within like 1-2 weeks of sending the application (and after weeks of sorting out financial forms) I was able to book a flight, only to get Covid a week before leaving (which at the end of 2021 meant I couldn't go if I didn't test negative on time) and meanwhile I still had to fly home to Spain to drop off all my extra stuff from my London dorm because I had nowhere to leave it and it was Christmas and I just wanted to see my family once more and I didn't even know how to get anywhere and had to change my flight home but at least I made it for the LA one. The worst was just sitting there quarantined not able to do anything, not even pack, and I hadn't even been given a room at that point so I had no place to live and was moving in less than 2 weeks, it was insane. Friends of mine also got Covid and had to postpone their trip and arrived a bit late, but it was still okay. As for the health stuff, MY GOD it was crazy, I ended up just getting most vaccines in the US because they had like a period of waiting despite them saying there was an earlier deadline, so you should maybe look into that because they usually do that without too much of a fuss. Very long comment haha but I just had to let out that frustrations that's still haunting me like I just remember having the biggest mental breakdown stuck in my room thinking I had no money and no room and probably wouldn't even get there it was a nightmare

I leave to go on a mission trip in three days and I don't have my passport, visa, or online class finished yet, which should be completed before I go. There is so much to do. Just have faith in the Lord. He is our strength. Pray about it. I know that he will provide. I am saying in faith in Jesus' name.

This video is so relatable. When I 1st went 2 America for my bachelors, I had to take a sh*t ton of jabs and a full body physical before I left my country. I also had to wait to get my offer letter package via DHL cause pre-COVID was mostly paperwork and not e-signing

It will all be ok in the end. I’ve been there with embassy interview appointments as well. Your school may want to do an in-person health check when you arrive too. That’s what happened to me - I had to pay upfront for a TB check chest scan as I didn’t have my health insurance yet. Just ride the wave and try not to worry about stuff you can’t control - I’m still working on this myself!
