Basically, there are Clives everywhere on the rank match, and I kept a feeling that I am not afraid of matching him. Seems he is not broken (thank God). Very fun playing against him, even though some of his moves is so annoying, especially that armor Titan fist, what the hack with the range, wall splat, huge damage and unable to sidestep. That is the only thing I do complain, other than that he is so stylish and cool.

@PhiDX there's much esier and more damaging option after f3. f3 -> d1 -> ws4 ->db1+2 and etc. No need for sidestep, 58 damage before screw and there's a potential branching on ws4 with ws4f into dash stance

I prefer a different combo route. May not work for everyone. Df2, db1+2, 1, 2,2, b2f, 2, 2. You can change up the ender for wall carry or damage. I like shift 2, 2 to build meter. This works off all launchers iirc. On ws2, do an immediate b2 then finish the combo as written.

The easiest combo off instant T! that does the most damage and doesn't drop is b2 > db1+2,1 > Gar.2,2. You can gar.3 (dash) HB H.u1+2,2f etc etc as well. The combos in the video are also useful in many situations, but for beginners stick with this route

In fact, any combo with Gar.3 is going to be harder, but useful for either HB or wall carry with 4,4f. As a starter, use launch > df1,4 > db1+2,1 > Gar.2,2 > ender. There's a lot of different enders, but the standard for a mix of damage and carry is df1,2>PHX.1. As Phi said, Clive has a very diverse combo game, and there's going to be a lot of optimizations, but to get started, use those because they are easy and work on everyone. Also, if you are a true beginner, simply use 3,3 > WOL 2 off your launcher for the easiest damage (does not work on instant tornado except at the wall, for those just so the combos above)

Raw Zantetsuken could also be used to whiff punish, it doing 80 damage by itself at lvl 5 means your opponent can't whiff anything or they die

You did not mention, what is th best finishers in the field, without walls. It seems f4 -> PS2,2 and f4->PS 3,1+2 do the trick. PS22 side switches, PS3,2 pushes far UPD: db1,1 (Leviaphan) does more damage than PS3,2 without just-frame (cannot figure out just-frame timing yet)

I'm honestly not a huge player of fighting games and i'm trying to learn Clive rn. And the problem i had with this guide is that you talk in "down 1, down back, etc..." but can't manage to understand what moves those are assigned to. I honestly would have like a clear button view under or somewhere (like in the combo tutorial you have in game). Think it's just beginners like me (plus i'm not english so sometimes i don't understand very well what you says in the middle of a sentence xD) that struggle with this view. He seems rather balanced. Weak in some areas like all his minus frames on a lot of good moves that can make him a risky character if you spam them, but also has good combo damage and good ranged moves. His b2 is a very good poke along with ff2 and d1+2 is safe on block along with f1+2 and 1+2. And the ability to change up his strings like his df+1 strings and change certain ones to prioritize meter is very good. Overall, he should be okay to fight against and win with.

Play the character and you will see he has extremely obvious counterplay that literally every character including drag has and drag, Bryan, Xiao, Claudio, Alisa, Zafina, Law, Nina, Jin, King and even bears have very strong moves that seem broken on paper. Even more so than these you listed. Bears even have a mid hitting electric bruh.

What is “tornado” in tekken?

Not super good at combo stuff but the gist of it is that a tornado is a property some moves have. In practice mode / Move-list you'll see a red icon with a cyclone in it for moves that have that property. In practice, a tornado move is a move that sort of slams the opponent on their ass and they can't move allowing you to continue your combo. The game's system limits this property so you get this effect once during a combo so where you place the tornado move matters.
