Wasn't a Collingwood fan, but in the 70's as a kid in the yard i used to pretend i was Carman. He was good over head & on the ground had loads of skill. A very gifted player was "fabulous Phil"

Such a great player. In 1979-81 the Pies could have had a forward line with Carman and a young Peter Daicos. Now that would have been something.
