What’s happened to Sir Phil, could and might well happen to anyone of us. The difference is that few of us could ever attain what Phil has in his condition, most of us would have crawled up in a ball of self pity and cried ourselves to death. Instead the ever brillant Phil is making the most of what he’s got and is taking it to the people, his fans, those with genuine love in their hearts for this man and all he’s accomplished. How dare anyone criticize him, if you do, I wait with bated breath to hear your performance with your own son playing the drums, playing your music in front of thousands of people. For all your pomp and arrogance you’d never manage one note. Phil is a hero, a national treasure, a genius all wrapped up in one humble, kind, honest man. Enjoy him whilst you can, thank him for doing what he’s doing and remember him with genuine honor and pride. God Bless you Phil, prayer for a miracle for you… Adrian in Bermuda ❤️💕❤️💕

There are FAR too many haters here. Phil sounds very good considering everything going on with him physically. I see people saying that he should have stayed retired. Why? He's doing what he loves and was born to do. I think it's pretty admirable of him to perform in the state he's in. He is playing sold out shows and employing MANY people. Not to mention giving his son Nic the best on the job training ever! Hopefully he's able to regain some of his feeling in his leg and hands and continues to keep kicking ass!

mimimaisie you are privileged for sure! Phil will live on and thanks to KZbin even you can watch him perform when he was at his heights (I mean put on a nonstop SHOW like the master musician he still is!) Nobody has been able to match Phil Collins on stage mastery from in front of the microphone, to behind the piano, then playing fabulous drums (sometimes in a duet!) and singing at the same time (not so easy!) all the while with the crowd in the palm of his hand! Phil showed everyone how to do it! Look at his production between his solo career and his time with Genesis and as a musical producer for many top players as well as acting! Just looking at his touring schedule makes me tired. Phil always gave the crowd what they paid for. He didn’t stay out late partying, he listened to that nights concert and critiqued every little bit to perfection! Listen to his audiobook, “Not Dead Yet!” as read by Phil. A great insight into one of the most talented people ever. It’s been a great privilege to share planet earth with Phil Collins! God Bless!

It's interesting how time can change the meaning of a song. In 1982, it was a bit of anger directed at his ex-wife. In 2018/2019, it's Phil shaking his fist at the fates that have brought him to having to sit in a chair during a concert. Phil still doesn't care any-MO!
