Hello Sir, I am a boxer and I am prepearing for championship next year. I ordered Heavy Hitter program of Phil Daru. Do you know this too? Because I am just thinking about if any other program also make sense for propearing next year. Thank you sir

Hi Georg, yes if you are doing boxing the heavy hitter program is more suited. But I found it similar to the Fight Ready program, but with less leg work focus, as that is more MMA focused. The thing to keep in mind these programs by Phil Daru are S&C focused, if you are looking to improve actual boxing skills, maybe consider Advanced Boxing Workshop by Expert Boxing, you can read a little about it here: myboxinglife.com/best-online-boxing-course-lessons/ Hope this helps and good luck for your fight!

@@BoxingLife Thank you for this information. Sir u also made guides of clothes. Do you use compression stuff? I wana buy some stuff of boxraw and I am not sure if I should go for 2 - 1 shorts (rushguard) and if I should go for tanktop or tshirt or long arm for boxing. Best regards George

to be fair the program was a bit overwhelming for me, it had too many max intensity workouts per week, there was absolutely no way for me to recover in between workouts if i followed it to the t

Dou you have an example of M from SMART goals on this program? I sopose is not the main goal to improve the reps on exercises.

If the program is 8 weeks long. And your goal is 8 push ups M would be that you need to increase your push ups by 1 per week. Making the goal measurable.

i can only do 4 pull ups.. is it enough? because i saw an example of workout and there was like 3 sets of 10 pull ups

Yeah reduce the amount in the set. If you can only do 3-5 at a time. Try doing 4 sets of 4. As you progress you will naturally get stronger and be able to more pulls ups.
