Phil, I am new here, great videos! I have struggled to get hill climbing fit these last few years, I am wondering if a little bit of this is because of my set-up. What is your favourite climbing set-up (50-34? 52-36?)(11-25 -> 11-32??). I have gone from a 50-34 (11-28) set-up to a 52-36 (11-25) set-up and I find it a lot harder to climb. Probably an obvious answer, but I wanted to ask your professional opinion.

Can You recommend any cycling routes in the lower 48 that You think would at least closely compare well to that KOM challenge course in Taiwan.. or at least whats that closest route You can imagine ? only thing i can guess would be if cycling up to Pikes Peak summit from starting down in Colo Springs , guess would be much shorter ride but although still it not end with quite as much elevation ?
