A chat between Phil and Dolly would make for an excellent podcast. You all should reach out to her. She would likely agree to come on. What I love about her is that she truly is genuine. From personal experience, she’s exactly the same in real life as she is on the stage.

Jase, many country singers of today and the past are Godly folk. I just watched Cody Johnson's story called Dear Rodeo. He made it by staying true to God and himself. He went off course for a minute but he reconnected to his faith and he doesn't hide it in his career. It was a great story. Other genres definitely don't connect to God, but country music is strong with men and women of faith. Aaron Watson is a great guy and yes you should bring him on the podcast.

I'll just say this in regards to Dolly Parton. I love a lot of her songs and I'm sure she's a good person. I think we have to be careful when we speak in terms of character and keeping faith intact. She has done some dubious things over her years. She posed for Playboy and recently stated that if Hafner hadn't died she would have liked to do it again. And that's who was in a year of today statement. It's not for me to judge your salvation because I have been through the fire and I have not always come out great. That's not what I was getting at I'm just saying this is a broad fanbase podcast and you have to be careful

Dolly said in an old Barbara Walters interview that she and her husband have an ‘open’ marriage. Not good.
@jackiefout93022 жыл бұрын
Dolly has said many times since that interview what she meant by an "open marriage" is that they have allowed each other freedom to pursue their own interest. She also added she would never be ok with cheating within a marriage. On a side note the song Jolene was inspired by a bank teller that was showing too much interest in her husband. I have talked to people who have worked for Dolly, all have said it is a myth Dolly doesn't spend time with her husband. Say they are together about 80% of the time.

I'm so thankful I found God (I've always prayed but I only in the past year and a half -two years have been having God on my mind like constantly and praying all the time , trying to be a better person ) but I definitely agree with he's the best way to go because for one if those CNN reporters aka not reporters actually tried to look into the past and read the Bible it's fact jack. But instead of doing the common sense righteous way they're are people out there that have $that want to be God's themselves and are actually in the transhumanism business were you download the whole internet into your brain and also making robots of themselves and their partners with a copy of their own brain and live forever and to live right beside the original copy aka human being. All I see with that situation is death of those people trying to play God and just right out of a scary horror movie. It's crazy and I pray these people wake up and realize that they're basically disrespecting the one that made us and this world and put us here on earth so we could even live and have a chance at eternal life but no some people just don't get it. Haven't they seen IRobots, and don't get me started on the hip-hop stars I once liked but I see them doing these hand symbols around their eye (666) and the lady Gaga thing who shouldn't be anyone's child's role model . Lord thank you for putting a stop to the craziness of this time in the near future. And thanks to Kim clement for asking you to use him and to speak through him to us. Thank you amen

I am heartbroken by the lack of love I see here in the comments. Luke 7:39 When the Pharisee ... saw what was happening and who the woman was, he said to himself, "This proves Jesus is no prophet. If God had really sent him, he would know what kind of woman is touching him. She's a sinner." Related to the same woman in Mark 14:6 But Jesus replied "Leave her alone. Why berate her for doing such a good thing to me?" Mark 14:9 I assure you, whenever the Good News is preached throughout the world, this woman's deed will talked about in her memory. " This woman who the bible says her sins were great, anointed Jesus with perfume and washed his feet with her tears. Dolly no doubt is a sinner, as I am and all of you are. Been to Dollywood, real sense of Jesus there and I believe they have Sunday morning church services in the park. If you require for us to be without sin to be a true born again Christian you are asking for something Christ himself didn't ask.
