On November 14, 2021, I was at WFR University Church. I was with my sister who was a devout Buddhist, we listen to the pre-baptism class, we went to listen to Phil preach for about 30 minutes, and then we went to be baptized. To my surprise my sister was baptized that day and I asked her why she chose to give up Buddhism and she said because Phil believed every word he said and it convinced her that every word of the word that he was preaching was true. So I thank you for my baptism but I think you more for bringing my sister into our forever family. I love you guys I’ll be back in August and I will see you at WFR University.

Bitterness will stay with you until you lay it all out there. I verbally forgave someone i had bitterness towards for years and when i forgave that person i instantly had zero bitterness towards that person. Forgiveness was verbal to that person not just in a prayer or thought.

It wasn't only Thomas who needed to see, in Matthew Jesus showed them all his wounds. They were all concerned with those wounds
@vanmoody2 жыл бұрын
When the women came and testified to the disciples about seeing the risen Lord, none of them believed the women. It wasn't until they saw Jesus themselves that they believed. Poor Thomas is singled out only because he wasn't present when Jesus appeared to them. All of them were doubting. And all of these men lived out hard lives because of their continued preaching about Jesus rising from the dead.
@rickoncale96052 жыл бұрын
When you fold a cloth it’s a Jewish tradition that lets those people know when you’re not there, that you’re coming back. So that was an indication that Jesus had come back or is coming back so he folded the clothes to let them know he’s coming back.

Also with Jesus dying on the cross and resurrecting he became the groom again, for the old groom was dead. Since in the old testament God declared I divorce you (bride)my people. Law back then was once a man divorced his wife he could not take her back. With Jesus death and resurrection became the new groom. Good show I love to listen to these men talk about scripture. I believe Easter is a man made pagan holiday. This distracts people from the real message Jesus talked about. Bunny's and eggs were presented by the Roman Catholic Church.
@georgettacarvin75932 жыл бұрын
Recommend that you do a study on the word Easter and its historical origin. It's still appropriate if we use the term Easter. I know we moved away from that and started using Resurrection, but I think we have allowed outside folks to tell us it's a pagan day but it's not pagan.✔️

I am a believer and Christian. What I say to someone who asks about why I believe..besides I have faith in the Bible is..I would rather believe and be wrong than to not believe and be wrong because hell is going to be HOT for eternity. If you are a believer and you are wrong you have lost nothing..you just die. But also you have gained someone and something to believe in that has made you stronger and a better person your whole life. Stay Safe and Have a Blessed Week.

The part of the Resurrection that the boys didn't discuss was when Mary didn't let go of Jesus, when she realized when it was him. And he said let me go for I have not yet seen my father. Any insight to that?

Jase, referring to your "He saw and believed" comment: I once heard in a sermon that said in the old testament, when someone would get up from dinner, if they left a piece of cloth by itself folded, the servant would know that the person was not done with their meal yet. So those entering the tomb would know that reference, and when they saw the folded up cloth off by itself, they would realize that Jesus wasn't done yet-- and so in seeing that, they believed.
@tericiaanderson76282 жыл бұрын
The folded napkin signified a diner would return to the meal, a crumpled napkin indicated the servants could clear the remains, the diner was done. The folded napkin/ cloth covering the face of the Lord meant he would be back.

@JaseRobertson the folded cloth represents I am not finished I am coming back again that’s why it says and he believed. Table etiquette back then when you were done with your food you would crumple up your cloth and leave it on the plate saying you were finished but if you were not finished and we’re gonna come back you would fold your cloth next to your plate this is what our preacher said on Easter Sunday and it makes sense
@stevendehaan66372 жыл бұрын
Hi guys your show truly blesses me. I've been doing a jewish culture bible study and the reason the one cloth was folded is because when the master of the house was at a feast and if he folded his napkin/face cloth that meant he was returning. The apostles should have known this as well .
