Kind of late but they're playing a game called short deck poker. In short deck poker, you play only 6-A in deck, A can make a low straight same as it would for A-5. So a 9 would've give Soyza a straight

can someone explain how the probabilities are calculated? at 6:34 Ivey gets a flush on the turn but Soyza has at least 3 outs(ace of heart and spade, and queen of clubs) to beat Ivey's flush with a full house. this would mean out of the remaining 44 cards in the deck(there are 8 on screen), his chances of drawing any of his outs is 3/44=7%, so why is his equity shown as 0%?

I would say most people consider 60 old, from what I have seen in videos that's what most say. 50 is the point where you're not young but you're not old.

@@skylightdota2 there is no 2s 3s 4s or 5s, so the 6 here replaces the 2 you could say, and you can get a straight from A to 9, so if a 7 comes on the river Ivey would get a A6789 and win

All cards from 2-5 are taken out of the deck hence 'short-deck'.. Ace could make a straight being a replacement for the final card on either ends to a straight but not middle cards..
