The difference with this Flyer roster over say...the last decade or so is two things. Hard work. This roster doesn't have a top tier skill player. They are proving that hard work, out working the opponent can make up for the lack skill. The other... As corny as it may sound....there is no "I"... In this team. They are like Marines. They are fighting for the man to thier left and right. A tight locker room.... Priceless! They never fold when they down. Torts... He's keeping these young guys focused. Solid net minding never hurts either. The Quitter trade issue, IMHO, really helped solidify this team. Got what they needed to now...a PP QB and scoring D man...that wants to be here. It's just a complete change in attitude for this team. One that results in wins!

Sanheim, Drysdale, York, Zamula are locked in. They are the future. Walker, Seeler, Risto are too old to be the future, hopefully they can be traded. Staal needs to be waived, he is simply cooked.

@@Superiorliving4 Walker is 29, and Seeler is 30, and both guys need new contracts after this year. You don’t re-sign those guys in a rebuild, you move them, and be grateful that they played well enough to get you back some assets. Risto is 29, with $5M cap hits the next 3 seasons. Getting that contact off the books should be the #1 priority for the team right now imo

​@eastcoasttaffy74 I hear you about risto and Staal they need to go. I disagree about Walker and seels, they're excellent defenseman and solid veterans. I know we're in a rebuild but you need vets to show the kids the way too. Jamie, york, sanheim, zemula, belpidio can all learn alot still
