With the wood being walnut, your sense of humor, & the drama of you sanding/buffing in & around the legs, this is my favorite episode. Its definitely one of my favorite of your pieces. Wondering if Howard wax has a distinct orange scent? A woodworking shop has a nostalgic smell for me. I'm thinking that wax may be part of it...? Great job Phil....🤘

Hi Phil, I just saw the reference to your video in my KZbin feed. it only took me two years to spot it...lol. What a great video! I think you are the first person to do one of these and post it up....well I've not see anyone else do it. Thanks for the references to my bowl. I do like your walnut better than the ash I used. Walnut is VERY expensive over here in the UK. and great finish as well.

Howdy Keith, You are welcome for the reference, glad you finally found it! LOL! Walnut is VERY expensive here, as well. I was at an estate sale and there were some Walnut boards laying outside on the ground. They were about 16 feet long. I think there were three of them. I asked how much and the guy said $12 and I offered $10 and brought them home! No, that doesn't happen often! I'm glad you had the opportunity to watch this video and I really appreciate you posting yours to give me the inspiration. This is one of my favorite pieces and very popular with visitors. Phil

I enjoy your channel. I'm a relatively new turner so you inspired me to try the four-legged bowl. Pretty trickey but fun.
