We are open letters to everyone. 🥰 How beautiful it is when everyone reads the love in our words and deeds. That's how the apostle Paul remembers the recipient of this letter, Filemon, who is a believer full of love and faith, whose house met the church in Colosse. ( 1:4-5) In this letter you can see that love and mercy will always be the channels to intercede for the restoration of others. I am moved by the humility of the apostle Paul, being the leader of Philemon, asking him for approval to receive his ex-slave Onesimus. But I don't want to do anything that you haven't previously approved, so that the favor you do me isn't out of obligation but out of your own free will. (1:14.) What humility!😢 Love does not impose, it seeks communication to find the best way of solutions, for the good of others. Today, tomorrow and always be an open letter of love!🦋 Siwon, God reward you! The apostle Paul wrote the book of Philemon 1:1. It deals with the practice of slavery. Philemon, who hosted a church in his house, was a slave owner, Paul had warned slave owners that they had a responsibility towards them and showed them as responsible moral beings who should fear God Philemon 16. Employees, political leaders, corporate executives, and parents can follow the spirit of Paul's teaching by treating their Christian employees, co-workers, and family members as the Body of Christ. Christians in modern society should not see their employees as stepping stones to help them achieve their ambitions, but as brothers and sisters in Christ who should be treated kindly. Furthermore, all Christian leaders must recognize that they will be held accountable to God for their treatment of those who work for them, whether they are Christian or non-Christian helpers.
