@rogerwalker22243 жыл бұрын
@@delraybrewer He attacked Vinnie the most, because the drummer would strike out with the groupies 90% of the time and be miserable to be around afterward. Also Vinnie moved into Rex's nice neighborhood, just up the street from him, and bring all the partying madness with him, which Rex was trying to escape. Furthermore, lol, the Abbott's father was unfairly getting a good cut of Pantera's revenue and Rex was put off by Dime and Vinnie's refusal to say anything to their old man, leaving Rex in the uncomfortable position to have to take legal action on behalf of the band. As far as Dime, he said the guitarist was bad at managing his money due to weak math skills. And toward Phil, he was put in the middle of the rift between the singer and the Abbotts because the singer wouldn't answer the damn phone to communicate his intentions while he was on hiatus.

Dimebag is legit exactly how you pictured him with fans in the videos. We were three kids barely into their teens and it felt like Dime spent 30 minutes with us. The young and dumb kid in me also brought matches and flicked one at Val (WOAH VAL!)... Dime was cracking up, Val not so much so thank god I was a kid that didn't know any better. On the lawn at the Starplex, we threw trash and shirts and whatever we could into a giant pile and set it on fire. The pit circled the giant bonfire. It's was tribal, spiritual, just amazing. Never thought it would be the last time to see those guys together. To this day, all the underground shows, the mega concerts, and festivals, the ozzfest, the whatevers, not one concert can match that experience. - 3333333333333 CFH.

All panteras songs are good and non are better than the other. I love every single song Pantera done. Im 46 and ive followed Pantera since 1990 when Cowboys came out, i was 15. Still to this day follow them even tho cpl missing now but the music Pantera put out will never die. It will be in our minds and hearts til the end of time. Ive seen Pantera 5 times live, 2001 in Huntington WV was last show i saw of Pantera, Reenventing the Steel Tour. I know where Phil was at during the last 2 albums. Ive been an addict for 30 yrs myself. Herion almost kill one yr ago come aug 11th. I was clean for 9 yrs and relapsed after all that time. I ODed the 11th for first time in my junkie life which 15yrs of IV use. Seeing my wifes face scared the shit out of me. I was surrounded by cops and emt and firemen. The Narcan was making me puke, thats how i came to, throwing up. This cop said to me, “welcome back sir”. I said, “welcome back from where”. He said back to me,” welcome back to life sir you just ODed on herion. Forgetting id even relapsed for past 2months began yelling ive been clean for 9yrs. Id forgot all about falling off wagon. It took until ride in ambulance looking at fresh tracks that i had relapsed. I said to all id argued with. I was back in methadone clinic for the 5 time in my life and still to this day am in there. Working my way out doors again tho. ODing was the eye opener for me. Once your dead it over. So what phil was going thru during that time was horrific and i applaude for even being able to do all he did with the addiction he had going on. Herion will take everything you have and care about, everything. The rest of guys just drank an partied an had good time everynight. Well with herion addiction there is no partying and having fun anymore. All that stops. You seclude yourself for everything and everyone as long as you have dope. Then when it runs out it find it no matter what. So hanging out an partying with your bandmates just is reality in a junkies life. So for him to be able to get on stage every single night was amazing feat for him so he had to be super high every show in order to just get up there. You can watch alot of shows an see hes smashed. Sorry for the life shit ive said just thought alittle bit of my addiction is identical to Phils and millions more addicts. When it happened ,(band broke up), i thought i was the most broken hearted kid on earth. I cried like i lost a family member. I was a 25 yr old kid in 2001. Nobody ever thought that wld be Panteras last tour. It was devastating to fans. But now that ive been thru what he was going thru then i know now why it fell apart. Phil didnt want for band to break up. They were ontop of the world. Herion broke the band up. H dont care who or what it is that it destroys. It wont stop until your dead or you open your eyes and stand up to your addiction. Once an addict always an addict. But that dont mean you have to do dope. Day to day is how i stay clean from dope. Methadone just a tool to get my mind back in right place. And it works if you dont abuse it. Its like anything else. Its just administered meds. Phil is an amazing dude. I follow his current music. The mans just a hell of a musician and human being. Again sorry for my biography, lol. Addiction is real in america. Get help now if you have an addiction problem. ODing was not a fun experience and will not go out like that. Lifes to short as it is already. Phil Anselmo is a rock legend just a bad m#ther f$cker!
