Same for me as well, I was 6 when CFH was released. I'm from Dallas, so my mother and my uncle would go to The Basement all the time. That was a local venue where they played a lot. They filmed Psycho Holiday video there. My mom would show me pics of them all partying. She would get me autographs unfortunately I lost my Power Metal tape they had autographed for me. I always thought Phil was the man. Even when they split I loved that first Superjoint album. Dime was also the shit as well. Phil was always back in fort between Dallas and New Orleans. Then he had his battle with substance abuse. I've also fought that battle, and it's not easy. Especially if you have the money to just continue on using and you're used to the party lifestyle that is just a way of life for many musicians. I know he was on methadone for yrs and probably still is. He's been on it for so long and has the money he can get months of take homes.
@AliceInPantera4 жыл бұрын
Man I still consider Psycho Holiday one of my favorite songs along with one of the best music videos ever; they’re shows were so good, all they had to do for a music video was film one...and Phil’s been off Methadone for a long time and considers that shit the devil, which it is
