Glasse miluju. Super !

Schovám ti jeden výtisk a dovezu, až někdy pojedu do Česka.

Thank you Dušan, really enjoyable. Is the audience invited?

Thank you very much for your comment... but I am sorry - I don't understand your question about the audience. I am look forward to play the book 2. Just started reading it a couple days ago and I find the book 2 way more interesting than the book 1. It's less "so much repetitive" and somehow more "interesting" (no.14 is my favourite) - at least I feel like that. I think once I am done with "all the etudes record", I will just make my own selection, mix of those I enjoy the most.

@ sorry perhaps I did not make myself clear. Was it a concert whereby you pay to hear you or was it a group of friends? Either way they were lucky to hear you play. 👏

@@stanelli OK. Now it's clear. This is a private salon where people are invited for free but they are asked to leave a donation (not specified, according on their own decision) when leaving. Audience was made up of several groups of people - a few of my friends, guests of my friend from Delft (big piano enthusiast) and also guest of the house / salon owner. This time, there was a full hall (around 60 guests) so yes... I've found something in the box afterwards.

I played them all 😬 with Etude 4, 6, 7 and 9 I don't agree with that too fast tempo. In Etude 8 I missed a bit of sensitivity. But it's an interesting interpretation anyway. In Etude 10 the dynamic felt a bit flat, I missed an equalness in touch and articulation and you could have done more echo f and p in repeat. But what's very interesting: you changed the hands the same way I did even the score says something different. The Bb7 is not played always in the left hand in the score but I dont mind that. And where did you find the accelerando and deccelerando in the score? 🤔

Heh... As we say - "million people, million tastes"... :) I play them in a way that I don't get bored. I accept your opinion and not gonna argue it. To your specific question about accelerando / deccelerando. Page 40 in the book. Figure 11 and 12. 11 is in "original tempo" which he writes 176, Figure 11 is written "2nd time accel." and Figure 12 is marked 184. He does not write it further on again, but my guess is he wanted to follow this in next repetitions too.

No doubt you won't just be happy to talk about your playing and you will shortly be posting your own Glass Etudes so we can judge your efforts although I imagine your interpretation would be rather pompous.

@@007EnglishAcademy Let's not start a "flame-war" here, please. He expressed his opinion and that's it. We can call it "full-time-piano-teacher-career-disease" - people tend to express their opinion, here boosted by the fact that "he played them all". Maybe Sebastian also might have had a bad day.... we all do sometimes. He said that "he does not agree", did not say that "I should do otherwise"... I also think that he finds interesting something which for most other people is totally uninteresting, but maybe he will find out when little older... :) Let's consider this thread as "no more need to say". Thank you (all)!
