This are the clips from the serial Island at War (2004). Serial run for one season only, and then it was just left, big big huge shame. Cast was brilliant as well as a story and the settings.But...
I am a big FanFiction.net shifter and when one of my favorite author, EastAnglia, start the new story The Velvet Dark that try to sort very important loose end from the serial, love story between Baron and Felicity, I got that hooked to her story that I ordered the serial, watched it for the first time and promised to make this video as tribute to a fantastic story The Velvet Dark that you can read here www.fanfiction.net/s/4247358/1... .

Editing is done in a way to follow not just a serial but more EastAnglia's story.

Music is Enya - Only Time, which I found it just perfect for the WWII period drama / love story

Magnificent... I have one word for Philip Glenister...INTENSITY. He has such a powerful presence. I love him as Gene Hunt, but, he has much, much more as an actor. Looking forward to the future.

Philip Glenister in this and Life on Mars is the most sexy man I've ever laid eyes on, and a great actor to boot. The Velvet Dark is an excellent fanfic and provides all that was lacking in this show.

Gene Hunt in the uniform? you do know that it is a nazi uniform... and that he played a German. Not that I don't think he's an extraordinary actor and i liked the show, but if i were you, i would not fancy the uniform that much... especially because DCI Gene Hunt is British, while he played a German nazi who was responsible for the killing of innocent people! there's just a big difference - just my opinion. i guess you simply did not think of that!
