Allison, thank you so much for another amazing review of Cabernet Franc wine. Philippe Alliet is one of my favorite producers for this variety. While I have only tasted Philippe Alliet's classic and vieilles vignes wines, the latter is one of my all-time favorite Cab Francs (I absolutely adore it!). I'm really looking forward to trying L'Huisserie and Côteau de Noire, and I'm sure I'll enjoy them just as much. I wanted to thank you once again for creating your channel on Cab Franc and regularly posting your videos. I'm always impressed by the quality of your reviews. On the one hand, they're incredibly informative-you provide an extensive background on the history of a particular winery or producer. At the same time, you give detailed and thorough tasting notes. This is truly spectacular and clearly conveys your deep passion and affection for Cab Franc!

Hi Alexey! Thank you for your thoughtful and kind comment. Philippe Alliet is without question one of Chinon's most important producers. While the Vieilles Vignes is probably his most beloved cuvée, I think his top two wines are exceptional. They are best with some age, so if you are drinking them on the younger side, be sure to decant them for a few hours to get maximum enjoyment out of them. Please do let me know what you think of them when you get around to trying one! Thank you for your kind words as well. I have finally caught up in posting the "back catalogue" of videos, so now within the next couple weeks, the videos will go up in real time. So the uploads will be a little less frequent, but I do aim to post a video every week. So there is lots to look forward to! I'm glad you appreciate the balance of the content of the videos and the depths as well. Thank you for your enthusiasm and support of my work! It truly does come from the heart! ❤🙏

I love the detail, huge wine geek here. 😁🍷. I’ve had the vielles vignes, the 2020. With a nice decant it was lovely. Have you had their chenin? I’ve not, can’t find a shop in the US that carries it. Cheers!

Hi Carl! Thank you for your comment! I'm glad you appreciate the nerdiness of this video! 😁 This is a really delicious wine, might be up there in my top wines of the year too. I have not tried the Chenin, but I did taste it at the estate last spring. It is very well done, as are all of the Alliet wines. Very small production though. I would be surprised if any makes it out of France! Thank you again for taking time to watch and for your enthusiasm and support! 🙏❤
