Living the best life we are able too brings happiness to the short time we are here. We must try and live out our dreams while we can and while we are still able to do so.

I am happy you love the Philippines, well, I mean the part of the Philippines you are in. I hope to visit that part of the country, when time allows. Luzon is beautiful too, and I have yet to see a lot of it, but I have to see the other islands too. Keep your family happy and healthy, and that little Filipino-Brit boy, he is lovely.

OFW are the best Filipina to meet. My Filipina was a OFW and she has lots of motivation 😊 Also the best English and conversationalist. I think it has to do with her being a OFW😊

Congrats Steven on the 13A!! The OFW requires an incredible backbone to be able to do that, go to a foreign land, likely not knowing anyone so that you can help your family back home, total respect for them. Watch out for those dangerous coconuts, someday i will tell you about our "near"coconut experience, scary stuff!! Cheers and thanks for the good vibes Kevin

My wife was an OFW in Kuwait also I think 3 years. When we first started to chat on line she did not tell me she was going back to Kuwait for 3 more years. Her contact for employment was ending in Philippines she was making around 110 USD a month. She gave up her contract for going to Kuwait because our online relationship was going well. I started to send her money for phone loads not much like 30 dollars a month.. I found out she gave up her job in Kuwait for me. She said if she went over seas and cancelled her contract she would be black listed and not able to work as OFW again. So I paid her the same 110. USD she was making in the Philippines. A few months later I visited her in Cebu for a week then went to meet her family for 2 weeks then one week in Bohol. When she got to USA and got her first job she was able to save 1300 dollars in her first 90 days. She told me it took her 3 years as OFW to save up that much money. She spent it all on a vacation in Thailand on her way back to Philippines she said she needed this freedom form working 7 day a week for 3 years. She said it was like slave labor cooking and cleaning for an old lady. Yes we are still happily married for almost 11 years.
