We will chat about the "market shopping" and prices for that, fruit vegetables and meat next week. This was simply the dry goods.

I'd like to see real food groceries cost. Probably you get that at a market? Meat, eggs, dairy, fruits veggies.
@SouthPaths2 күн бұрын
Soon yes we will do that as well.

This is our snack food. For most meals, it's pork chicken and beef dishes. That purchase cost and the fruit and vegetables will be covered in another video.

@SouthPaths got it

Your purchases are fairly normal and at least you have the knowledge to go to wet market for your veg and meat chicken , a lot of other foreigners buy everything from supermarkets

Thankyou, yes the veggies are way better at small markets around here

I go to S&R (Philippine version of Cosco) once a month. Very good selection and most American food is quit a bit cheaper compared to Pure Gold, or SM... South Super Markets are a pretty good option also....

I will recall that if we ever get the chance to go and compare. Love to save money.

Thanks for the info, give me a idea on how much I can spend and you have a lovely wife
@SouthPaths3 күн бұрын
Thank you, she is amazing. That is about 1.5 weeks' worth of dry goods perhaps 1 week...there are many more expenses but. If your careful with your money, you can live in the Philippines in a decent clean place...with public transport 5 minutes away etc. For $1000 a month. In a few hours we release a video about a 100% new, 2 bedroom semi detached house near to us for 8000 php a month.

Oh I know your right about that!! But bean counters are not to bright about people...just math...sad that other corporate tards keep listening to them.

The sound at home was to low, some foods with American names are not made in the US, Lay's potatoe chips for instance are made in china...
@SouthPaths4 күн бұрын
Really? I thought it was a bit harsh? Hmm..ok...I will work that out next video. It's a new mic, first video with it..thought it a bit loud. The chips are under license...I can only hope and pray that they are not loaded with even more bad than the made in America ones. They have the same flavor I found but that's opinion too.

But McDonald's is awful I tried one time a burger just to compare Meat was terrible I threw it away Avoid things with heavy tax cigarette alcohol The soda is 50% tax when excise vat etc is all added up Anything with sugar Electronics High duty Onions potatoes garlic etc very expensive Milk is long life from nz or aus Gasoline high too due to taxes And vat on the tax 😂 That's how they were able to double police and military pay Chewing gum is rare and imported from Thailand Many supermarkets have more skin whitening products than food 😂
@SouthPaths2 күн бұрын
Verrrry true. Especially the McDonalds...augh.

That 42 pesos Snickers will cost $1.50 in North Carolina at the Dollar General. So over double the price here. Think thats around 71 cent there at the moment. And my friends wonder why I would like to come there.
@SouthPaths3 күн бұрын
Many many good reasons to be here. It's an adjustment for sure, but it can be worth it.
