I took my Filipina to El Nido for 10 days and we stayed on the beach at the MaryGold Beach Resort. The island hopping tours were amazing, and we did go on that zipline from 1 island to another. We rented a motorcycle and found Nacpan Beach which was a hidden gem of a beach. Also the food was absolutely incredible.I would not hesitate to return to El Nido and stay longer... Such an adventure, glad you guys enjoyed yourselves.

10 years ago we hired a very old jeep to explore the island, we got lost and ended up in Nacpan. It was a beautiful surprise and but there were no accommodations yet, just picnic tables with shade. Barely any people either. So peaceful and quiet.

Palawan would be busy with tourists during summertime. So it's better not to travel from April to June if you want more privacy. And I believe there are 4 tours that you can choose and you've chosen the busiest one. I think Tour C or D would be more peaceful.
