Hi Clara - regarding accessories for the Philips 300 series air fryer, the current model of Lakeland 1lb loaf tin is different to the one in your article. The new one has a lip, which makes it about 22cm long, so it won’t fit in either drawer. I don’t think the current model of 16cm enamel dish will fit in the small drawer either. I compared it against a foil container which does fit and it is wider. The internal width is 12cm, so when you take into account the lip, it is too wide. Hope this information is of use/interest.

Thanks for the excellent review. I've watched this video along with a few of your others and they've all been great, everything so clear and well explained. I've bought this as my first ever air fryer and really impressed so far. The only very slight criticisms, I don't understand why they went with a basket rather than just a crisper plate in the large drawer, seems like its wasted some space and taken away some of the advantage of that larger drawer, and secondly its a bit annoying that there is a slightly raised section in the middle of the basket meaning tins don't rest as nicely as they could in there. Aside from that it seems fantastic, and nicer to look at that a lot of air fryers.

Hi Clara, thanks for the videos. One thing i would love to see more of on a air fryer review is what they are like to clean. We have an old phillips 6L one (gave up the ghost today after 5 years of heavy usage) and its bit of a dog to clean despite everything being dishwasher safe. The basket is kind of wire mesh on the bottom and it doesnt clean well without being scrubbed and bottom has this swirly pattern plus a plate on top of this which is kind of a greasy mess after cooking meat Maybe all the new ones are similar in how they are to clean each other, this one looks easier than ours, but its certainly an important part of ownership that I think gets overlooked! I know you usually say if it is dishwasher safe or if it doesn't fit in sink or whatever, but our old one would have passed both of those tests despite definitely not being easy to clean! Dont mean to sound ungrateful or anything, but it would just be the one piece of information i personally i would be looking for that the videos dont provide. Really appreciate the videos, we were probably leaning towards a flexi drawer one but after watching some of your videos we are thinking a dual drawer might work better for us

Philips has been making Air fryers fior years, I have one that is around 12 years old. Just a basic single drawer thing, with a mechanical timer and temperature control. Great unit, so reliable. If the news last as long as mine, then they are worth the money. The swirly things on the bottom are suppose to help move the air around, better than a flat base. Sometimes the simple things are better than all the digital controls.

It does have dual fans. If you take the draws out and look up inside, you'll see there is one for each draw. I've just bought one on the strength of this video and the other video where you compare the 3 top ones. Philips is on offer in curry's at the moment, but i still think I'd have taken this one over the ninja

I'm afraid I can't give you an accurate answer as I didn't test it with that and I have now rehomed the Philips, but I think it's a very valid question and something I will test next time I review a model with a lower maximum temperature

Yes technically Philips didn’t invent it, but they hold the patent for “rapid air technology” though clearly that hasn’t been terribly useful judging by the amount of other manufacturers doing the same thing

On John Lewis & Currys website they quote the size to be H442.90 x W382.50 x D314.20mm whereas you have H314 W444 D383 height being the main issue for most people so important to know if will sit on worktop under cabinet....so could you confirm please

The dimensions on John Lewis & Currys are incorrect. You can see the correct dimensions on the Philips website www.philips.co.uk/c-p/NA352_00/3000-series-dual-basket-airfryer (look under “tech spec” and “show all technical specifications”. ) I no longer have the 3000 here but have just measured the height of the 5000’s main body (they are structurally identical except for water tank on top) and can confirm height is 314

We have the Philips 3000 single basket air fryer (HD9257/88). It's a very good design, but has a crucial flaw - the non-stick coating is terrible. The food sticks to the basket and is very difficult to remove. After only 6 months the non-stick coating has come off in large patches exposing the bare metal. Philips are offering to replace the part for free, but it's still the hassle factor (you have to send the whole unit back to them). Have Philips improved the coating on this model? I like the current air fryer I have and would get this dual basket one if they've fixed the problems with the coatings. If not, I'd get the Ninja.

Hi Adam, I really wish I could answer but I have already rehomed the Philips. I only have the space to hang on to about half a dozen air fryers at any one moment and had a couple of new ones coming in, I must admit though I was rather sad to see this one go and may regret not hanging on to it!

(The model number listed in the title for this review is not actually correct.} Philips have three colour options in this design, NA350 as in this review with black handles and detailing, NA351 with silver handles and detailing and also NA352 with copper handles and detailing.

Philips produced the first air fryers, which were invented by Fred van der Weij in 2005. Philips = quality. The best. The wings are on the bottom of my Philips XXL Gold too. They improve the air circulation. Often no need to turn food.

The Philips 3000 Dual Zone 9l is at Currys for £100. I prefer the look of the Philips and it's £30 cheaper. Would you advise same size draws (Cosori) over having one big and one small (Philips)? If pressed, which of these would you buy?

It’s the star technology. She mistakenly said that the star pattern at the bottom of the baskets were to match the logo, however, that star design is what forces the hot air in a pattern such that it evenly distributes heat (much like hot oil) and therefore crisps up food as though it were fried. Minus the grease! 10/10 love the Philips air fryer over any air fryer on the market for this very reason. Just purchased the 3000 series and it is so quiet compared to the original model. Will only purchase Philips air fryers. Also doesn’t need to be “preheated” like some other air fryers on the market (which are more like toaster ovens in my opinion)

I am disappointed with Philips and this air fryer as they are usually one of my favorite companies. Lets start with the sync operation, you said it starts with the left drawer and then finishes with the right drawer so what happens when the right drawer contains food with the longer cooking time, useless, next the fact that there is no longer timer program for dehydrate, so this means I can't do a slow cook unattended if I need to keep restarting, also you gave us the outside measurement but these manufacturers never tell us the size of their baskets as quarts and liters is a volume not a size as a 9 inch basket of 8 liters would be shorter than a 8 inch basket. The last thing I want to ask is why do all you reviewers always want to push your air fryers back to the wall where the plugs are and I have watched many reviewers?

Firstly to answer the question about pushing back the air fryer, I'm purely demonstarting what the fender does and nothing else. Secondly I think you misunderstand the sync function, this is when you are duplicating settings from one drawer to the other, so timings and temperatures would be the same, if you want a longer cooking time for one drawer you would set them up individually and finally with drawer sizes, I am starting to build a database that shares drawer dimensions and some of the bakeware I have used which fits in each air fryer.
