Philips acquired the medical products division of Agilent Technologies, which is a HP company. Now Philips have the IntelliVue X3, which can double as a MMS module.

The extra transistor on the primary side of the PSU could be part of an active power factor circuit.

This is one of the only things I could figure for a second switch on the primary. I really wish I had more time to Xray the board and see where the traces go..

@@BetterBiomedChannel Look at the control IC's around the switching transistors ans you will see. Also measuring the voltage on the primary cap(s) will tell you if there is active PFC happening.

Now they made several models of these televisions. There’s even a smaller travel, size model, and even a defibrillator version called the MRX

Now they Phillips MRX heart start system is kind of travel size like the miniature Phillips intelevue heart monitoring systems, but it also kind of big. But it also has two different modes of defibrillation, manual and auto. Has two options for defibrillation with paddles or adhesive pads, and it even has a CPR lungs pressure sensor too that is optional

I have this monitor, sometimes when I turn it on the screen and the LEDs do not turn on, and sometimes yes. Can you advise me where the problem could be

Are you sure it's a LED backlit monitor? Sounds like the backlight driver is defective

@@BetterBiomedChannel Yeah, the alarm LEDs of the left upper corner. Both do not activate, just the sound and also the touch are working.
