If he was banging him after only just meeting him and he was 18 then fair enough but I'm saying it as a 23yr old guy who likes older women (oldest I've been with was like 50) but ye I think when someone's under 20 that's when its weird

Teenage boys, children. He became world famous, like huge. Beloved by millions as a wonderful human. So you wanted our thoughts in the comments, I have a few: - First of all, I would not watch this if my life depended on it, so thank you so much for covering it haha. I think you covered it in such a great manner so all credit to you - 5:42 - I actually don't think this was a bad move by Holly, and probably very media trained. As you said they were both the "TV Couple" so acknowledging that it's different to the viewers that would be so used to them being our daytime presenters for so long is a good move. Change is hard so best to address it. Not saying this as a combat to anything you said, but to Philip's later mocking. - I think you did a great job in highlighting how bias the docu is, not an unbiased view at all. - 27:02 - friends ditching him when he got cancelled and being chucked under a bus. As you said you don't want friends to ditch you. But any friend would hold you to account and ditch you for doing something so bad. He seems to be dumbing down what he's done as not that bad, and transferring the onus on to these 'friends' who ditched him and should have been there for him. If you make bad decisions, you can't expect people to be there blindly supporting you. As you alluded to, feels very narcissistic. - 28:06 - he seems to allude to the only thing he did wrong was the age difference. While yes, it is a large age difference, I don't think it is the main factor. In my opinion, the other factors are, that he knew this person and worked with them as a minor, but also he was talent. In the TV world, being talent feels like a position of authority, so whether someone is of age or not, having that much of a gap with someone in such a lower position is an abuse of authority. I think if there was another person who was 'talent' and was 18 y ears old, it wouldn't have been so much of a scandal. But he seems to home in on the only issue is that this person was a lot younger than him. He doesn't seem to take accountability for anything at all, just keeps rehashing how he was 'left to the wolves' - if that's how you think, you're not sorry. You're playing the victim I'm sure there's more, but I don't have the attention span at this time of night to devote to him haha. Great coverage though! You hit every point that resonated for me

I feel more bad for this young runner. When you think about it, he was groomed by Phillip from a young age assuming 15 or younger. Phillip abused his position of trust by grooming aswel as having an affair with him. He has supposedly has a super injunction in place or NDA. The runner should have his say to speak up about what Phillip did to him. The bottom line is Phillip is a total egotistical narcissist, how him returning to tv is just beyond me.

i feel like if they MET at an older age and he got exposed (for the age gap/liking teenagers) it wouldn't be as bad but its the fact that hes known this boy as a small child, its so much more disturbing... like what were his intentions then
@amemelia3 ай бұрын
i think people would just spin it a different way. because he was 10 so an actual child it was a bit more cut and dry of it being "bad" for lack of better words. usually when things like this happens with teens people end up victim blaming the teenagers and say they have more capacity and consented to the relationship (obviously not, theyre still kids and under the aoc). think if it happened when he was a teen instead of at 10 then people would just pass it a bit more easily since teens apparently can consent (legally they cant and still grooming)
@80sKitty3 ай бұрын
Exactly 💯, if he knew him as a child and waited specifically until he was "legal" he was having sexual feelings for a boy under the age of consent. That's gross. He has no justification and he knows it deep down.
@husnaharghandiwal57013 ай бұрын
@@amemelia But a 16 year old is a teen and can legally consent to sex with a much older adult (which I think is definitely gross), but just bringing it up since you mentioned teens legally can't consent.

Thank you Cam, for breaking down this 3 part series. It proves that PS is taking no responsibility for his actions..It's everyone else's fault. He's in denial, to hide behind the fact of what he did was unwise, but not illegal, further proves the underlying guilt he must feel. If he'd started a more age appropriate relationship, no one would have questioned it. I really feel for his wife and 2 daughters. He's obviously still bitter about how he lost his job and if he lost it because of his brother's actions, that's obviously unfair. I think he's got a lot of soul searching to do and some therapy to help him come to terms with everything. How the mighty fall. I hope he finds some peace and can start to rebuild his life.

Narcissists feel too self important to ever do that. All he did was confirm what i thought about him. The only times he comes across as genuine is when he talks about how much this hurt him. Not a mention if grooming a very young person or using his position to develop a s*xual relationship with that person. People werent mad because hes gay - in fact, i would suggest that, had it been a young girl, the fallout would have been a lot worse. Hes actually disgusting.
