Josh’s step dad doesn’t give a flying one. If he’s Josh’s father figure then no wonder he’s the way he is. His stepdad has no respect for his mum and constantly invalidates her. She seems like a decent woman who is at the end of her tether with Josh and isn’t supported by her husband

I think the stepdad might have a part to play in why Josh is so vile, especially his lack of respect for women. The way he wanted to give Josh a pat on the back and a well done after the last night out, plus the way he kind of tried to undermine the mum each time she was disappointed or disgusted in her son made me so annoyed.

I have to agree Josh's stepdad is a big part of Josh's problem, the stepdad was pretty dismissive of mum and also wanted to give Josh a pat of the back for being an absolute horror to some poor young woman. Josh is definitely the inspiration behind the character Jay in the inbetweeners. The boy was so socially awkward, would not be surprised if something traumatic happened when he was younger, which could also explain the drug issues. Possibly his parent's separation, who knows. I know should never judge a book by its cover and all that, but, the stepdad looks well shifty, and I wouldn't be surprised if hes learned it growing up with him. Look at the way he walked up behind him, it was like oved aggressive, like someone does to try intimidate someone else as in squaring up to them.

As a guy who grew up with a Mum who was dating and saw several different guys after splitting with my Dad when I was 4, I can say that I became aware of sex and curious (and confused) far too young. It definitely affected my relationships with girls and then women, but that doesn’t mean it was her fault. I made a lot of wrong choices, knowingly, probably because I hadn’t properly processed my emotions or reconciled my suppressed childhood anger, which then morphed into some very unhealthy behaviours towards sexual partners. I would like to say that I wasn’t as bad as Josh, but that would not be entirely true. I definitely wasn’t as openly explicit, although that might have made things worse. I hope him and his Mum figure it out, as he clearly doesn’t respect her, and by extension doesn’t respect women in general. He does need a stable older male figure in his life, or maybe just a good talking to before it gets even further out of hand. And as for any young woman who thinks she can “fix” him, God help her!

Anyway, I do hope the guy in the video figures it out sooner than I did, and hopefully doesn’t hurt too many of the women who cone within his orbit. Shalom 🙏

This show was a mental concept, but at the same time I never really understood why the kids felt so ‘violated’ or ‘invaded on’ anything like that because they were being filmed the whole time and that footage was going to be broadcast for everyone, parents included, to see, regardless. So why would them seeing it during filming as opposed to waiting until the release make any difference at all? The rationale just never made sense to me 😂
@OmegaKenelly26 күн бұрын
I never thought of that, and now you’ve said it, yeah, it makes no sense! Crazy!

@@zeusymoosey3348 No like I agree it’s wild and wrong and everything else, but the whole idea just didn’t really make sense to me because the parents would see the broadcast anyway. So it’s not like them seeing it there or waiting would have made a difference in how the kids acted or anything (clearly, looking at how he behaved lol). Like I completely get the distrust aspect from the kids side, but sure they were going to see everything eventually anyway. I guess I probably worded it wrong in my initial post, but it was always weird to me when they acted as if they were shocked their parents knew what they were up to (outside of the obvious wtf why’re you here etc) when they were being filmed, yknow.

She ended up coming up to me because she saw me get on the table and dance (at this place it's what everyone does it's called table top shots, other people get up too so it wasn't just me) I didn't do anything bad and she dragged me down by my dress and made me fall over Infront of everyone, she then proceeded to scream in my face. Moving on though, imagining what would have happened if I met a guy like that? Someone who's going out to get laid regardless of feeling sick? Also someone who just treats women and people like that in general? Awful - I would have felt absolutely filthy mentally and physically for months. I had one near sickness encounter with my partner (whom I love and cherish) a few months ago and it had me anxious for weeks.
