Phillipsburg Mall - PART II

Today, I got word from Bath & Body Works at Phillipsburg Mall that they applied for an extension on their lease... and got it. The death of this mall will be even longer and more drawn out than we could have imagined. However, this does mean that more content on this mall is on the way, and lots of it. Possibly including a view into the back areas. Also, I am doing a New England tour very soon, so expect to see malls such as Greendale, Eastfield, Steeplegate and more coming down the road. Great work! I met you briefly at the mall. Doing an awesome job and can't wait to see your channel and content grow! But yeah...gonna be weird not having this old tomb of a mall to walk through. More sad for Black Rose Antiques since they took a dead anchor space and made it something cool. Hope they (and other tenants that decide to) find new digs elsewhere.

I like how the fluorescent lamps are laid out on the sides fro the ceiling. Very beautiful mall, but one level malls do not do very well. It is too bad, it is a very nice mall!

@@blandmalls *UPDATE* The mall owners confirmed on January 29, 2021 that the mall will in fact soon start being demolished and will probably be fully gone by June of this year.

I think it’s a shame that Namdar Realty has allowed the mall to go into such disrepair. It’s like they had no intention of revitalizing this mall. I wonder if they misrepresented their business model to the tenants.
