It actually, isn't a warcrime. What he references in the video is a citation from a convention that the United States, Ukraine, and Russia are not party too. It's actually super misleading because he implies it's under Geneva. Now, a different way this /could/ be a War Crime is something I talk about in my comment. Which is possibly violates AP1 Artiicle 35 where it talks about the use of weapons that cause "superfluous injury or unnessecary suffering.". But that's so fucking broad I can think of a dozen weapons employed my modern militaries today that use it. It could also fall into the indirect targeting of Civilians but I think a counter argument could be made that there are no Civilians in Ukraine (Which is the same argument the US made when bombing Nagasaki, and Hiroshima.) and how almost everyone is involved in the war effort to some degree. But there wouldn't be any significant enforcement by the ICC or LOAC; unless you want to risk open-war/MAD and force Russia into complete capulation and submit their leaders to war crimes tribunals lol it's no going to happen.

Listen, my suggestion look up the 'Law of Armed Conflict Documentary Supplement" It's put out by the Army JAG. It covers, in depth, Geneva, Hague, CCW and every other convention the US has signed dealing with Armed Conflict and it's enforcement. What you won't find? Is anything talking about clustered muntions because it's not been ratified nor does the US have any intention of doing so. I highly doubt Russia or China will. Their is a couple with two kids, one around 11 years old by now and the other at least 6, and the fact that I have to live here unable to do anything know that these kids will grow up in fear is absolutely horrifying. I have only recently found your videos and shorts. Thank you for all you and your fellow volunteers are doing. You shouldn't be receiving hate for sharing the reality of what's going on! There are people out there trying to say that what you ate witnessing isn't happening...when it very obviously is. Thank you for bringing awareness, help and hope to the people there. I am very lucky to be here but I still have a lot of relatives back in Ukrainian. And seeing the things you are doing for the starving people of Ukrainian i can not be more great full right now.
