Oh my God the drug epidemic there is really horrible. It took way to long to get that lady some help. Then the man in the background standing up nodding off while the fire department is helping her...wow. I would be so scared walking in that area needles everywhere. People walking around looking like zoombies. Lord please help these people.

Can you imagine how horrible the detox process is? I mean, if living like this is better than detoxing, I can't imagine the pain involved with getting clean. Philly in the winter is super cold, I'm sure they have deaths every night just from exposure. Fentanyl is so dangerous, and its everywhere here in the northeast.

It’s heartbreaking, it’s like a bad horror movie with zombies walking around 😢 When will people say enough! Everything needs to change now! We won’t put up with this horrible state of condition with the sickening unjustness of sharing and deviding? How can we still in 2024 put up with it?! When life is a struggle it’s easy to give in, to get som ‘relief’ from the pain and fear, this is often the result. So incredibly sad 😔

Right 💯 !! And people say " why isn't tax money going to help homeless?" This (emergency vehicles/employees) is where we have to spend a lot of money that could truly help shelter people.

Surely these people see what it does to others when they first start using, and you think that would kill that ambition, but I guess it’s life choices. Real life must be really sh@t if that’s a preferable state. What a waste of lives.

Maybe next time, esp. if it happens at night and no one notices or cares, she may not be as lucky. God Bless all of them for every day is a gift that they abuse and take for granted.
