I’m from Philly and I have to say it was so fun getting to watch someone from out of town explore some of the biggest visitors spots and experience some of the culture for the first time. I hope you got a soft pretzel before you left!! Also tastykakes are a PA born company and snack. Their cakes are delicious but I’m sorry you got the banana split one! They definitely don’t do them justice! 😂 Hope you enjoyed the city! 😊

I lived in NJ for most of my life and then in Delaware for a short time and would spend plenty of time in Philly, especially at Reading Terminal Market. Such a wonderful place. You visited where I was born and grew up when I was little. I lived in an apartment close to the art museum. I used to swim in Penns Landing fountains. It’s changed a lot since I was little. Reading Terminal is amazing. Hope you got some cookies. Miss my hometown since I live in CT now.

It was so nice to see you touring my city. Great choices in dining at Sabrina’s and La Colombe. I hope you return. I would recommend touring the art museums on a future visit, and seeing the smaller museums as well, like The Rodin. There is also a book museum and library called The Rosenbach that I think you would love! I recommend the Franklin institute, especially, for Brandon. I also would recommend two amazing vegan restaurants: Vedge and Charlie Was A Sinner. Get reservations way ahead. It might be worth reaching out to Isaiah if you wanted to meet him or tour his studio on camera. He is an older man and very spirited!

Nope! Soft pretzels ARE what Philly is known for - with yellow mustard. BTW, the Reading Terminal is actually pronounced "Reding" like the color. Easy to see why so many out-of-towners get hooked by this one. It was part of the Reading Railroad Terminal years ago. Glad you and your mom had a great time. Looks like the weather was perfect.
