Beautiful plant, this is probably the best video I could find on Philodendron Mamei. I've been struggling to find them in Melbourne though, very few nurseries have this one and all are out of stock. Can't wait own one :)

Thank you for this very informative video! A friend gave me a cutting with only two leaves, it grew a third, and it's now starting to produce a fourth. I noticed it was growing "sideways" and not "up," so I will definitely give it a crawling planter when it needs to be repotted.

Gorg! 😍 I have one in recovery. I use GT also but struggle with spider mites. 😢 One day mine may get that BIG! 💚 🌱
@indoorplanthings Жыл бұрын
They bounce back quickly after spider mites. Well mine did! After I treated the spider mites, I always cleaned my leaves every watering with a leaf cleaner just to make sure no spider mites were hiding anywhere. They are the worst aren't they 🥲 good luck with yours 💚

I'm down to one leaf on mine. I have wooden stake in it. I'm trying to train it to grow upwards.

Oooh good luck 🍀 I haven't been able to get any of my crawling plants to go upwards!

What is your favorite way to propagate this one?
@dayben42568 ай бұрын
Does it apply to all crawling philos?
@indoorplanthings8 ай бұрын
I don't have any other crawling philos to test that. I might have to get one and see 😏

That’s one beautiful plant! For your foliage focus fertilizing regiment, do you do full strength per manufacturer recommendation, or dilute it to half/quarter strength?
@indoorplanthings Жыл бұрын
Thank you!! When I first had the plant I did do a double dose of the full strength (10ml per litre), however this can cause a build up of mineral salts. You can definitely do this but will need to flush out the soil monthly to reduce the build up. To make life easier I'm just using the manufacturer's (5ml per litre) dosage now 🙂
