I think it’s important to use healthy discrimination and wise judgment.. Say you need a babysitter for your kids. You’ve got two options. 1) A sweet lady with good standing within the community. 2) A known child molester. First you need to judge which person is right for your kids, and in order to make a good choice you’ll need a modicum of discrimination. Your children will appreciate your judgment.

In simplistic terms, this video describes me, my inner thoughts, my thinking and ultimately my resulting behaviours - even why, in a crowd or audience, I am stand on my own. With knowledge comes power, with power comes responsibility. For when good men that fail to act is when evil prevails. If you are reading thus, it is a sign that you are a good man. Sometimes we lose direction, but all roads lead to Rome when your end goal is set in stone. A problem I see with most men is lack or direction. I've always just wanted to die happy, the way I will do this is knowing that I never gave up on myself, only on those that had given up on themselves. Great men and women lead by example, live your best life and you will show others the wisdom they need through your own happiness. Be happy kings and queens, with little and alot. God bless 🙌

Getting rid of judgement has single handedly been one of, if not the most impactful component which has helped me to significantly reduce my self induced stress, and start getting over depression. Eventually you will look at things objectively, try to learn from your past, and choose to see things through an optimistic lens. With this approach you can open new doors to exciting things which once bored you, and shut old doors that once made you feel trapt. This one simple thing can really change one's life. I'm happy to say that I actually feel like I'm finding my way now. 😌 One other huge thing that I overlooked which is really helping as well is forming a reading habit! Instead of being passive all the time by watching tv or playing videogames, set aside a bit more time each day to actively engage your brain by reading and/or trying to learn new skills!

Luckily I learned to think this way in Kindergarten. My father always had to work late and I was the last one to get picked up. While no one was around anymore and I didn't really know what to do, I liked to just sit there, watch the birds, play with leaves and think "Maaaaan. It's not boring like other kids would say. I just am now. And that's crazy enough!" Do you know what I mean? To just be is kinda awkward. But you have to be, because you can't be. Therefore you can't think when you aren't so as a consequence you just can think that you are here now and exist. I'm not good with words so I can't explain what I mean concisely. But I wanted to say that from now on, your life or a moment can never be boring again. Because you're in a vast place and you can do everything you can do

A lot of what this video does is explain certain situations and what would be a better way of dealing with those outcomes... However, it really falls short in explaining just how that desired behaviour is actually accomplished and implemented in your own life. It's one thing to realize something fully but a completely other thing to actually live that change. It never happens by just thinking about it if it's something you've been struggling with for a longer time because "the bad way" implements itself as a habit in your brain (especially taking into account the reactions based on your emotions). What good are emotions if you will always just "wait them out"? Don't get me wrong, I agree with a lot of what stoicism is trying to teach us but the whole philosophy came to be a long time ago in a world so different than ours. I could go on but I've decided to "wait the emotion out" until I could stoicly continue to respond...

Your thoughts shape your actions and perceptions. And those shape your life. There's nothing to do or gain to change how you (consciously or unconsciously) think about the world. You may distract your mind with material gains or romantic relationships and personal aspirations. But it does not change the fundamental truth that what you think manifests what's real to you. There is no right way to go through life. It's merely a question of wether you're going through life consciously or unconsciously.

This is one of those rare KZbin videos; where due to the subject matter being discussed, commenters will really need to think carefully before they type anything scathing or negative.

Meaning of life: You, your perspective matters to you. Why would you let other perspectives change yours, its not supposed to change yours because its not yours, its not a force to change you because you are the force that changes yourself. That is why we should live the way we want, why love and hate are the same path and there is no wrong one. In difference the infinite is born. Life is what we make it because we live our lives ourselves and choose what we see and believe. We choose our perspectives even when we feel a victim we become one. Just because things happen, those things are not us but our perspective matters to us on those things and then we become attached to the difference and allow its influence to change us or the illusion of it since we allow it to have control so really it is our own doing, it is us because we make it us. We should see and become something what we want instead of giving in to influences.
