I'm gonna make a prediction for the bit about the zombies: all miners are Steves in this universe and they all wear the same clothes. They occasionally find those cube things underground which lead them to the Minecraft world. They get stuck, they die, and they become zombies. Thus they look like undead Steves, because they are actually miners who got stuck in the Minecraft world and couldn't survive long enough.

The realistic furry texture still looks a little bit weird on wolves and other animals but I'm starting to get used to it and it looks really good on the hostile mobs and golem. Also kind of unrelated but another Minecraft movie kind of Jumanji style I feel would go hard.
