I think I heard before that back when the show was first being developed, they were originally supposed to be like the "C-Plot" of the show, so it would be Phineas and Ferb, Doof and Perry, and the bugs every episode. So if I had to guess, someone REALLY wanted to bring them back to take over Doof and Perry's role, the B-Plot, in a potential spinoff.

Yeah I didn't realize that the final season was stretched so long. This was far after I stopped watching the show, but hearing they did a Star Wars crossover following the FOX buyout? I was just like, "Guys, what are you doing?"

Like I said at the end of the video I'm cautiously optimistic a lot of the newer projects I've seen from the team (i.e. Milo Murphy, Hamster and Gretal) haven't really been my cup of tea. But I've always loved the series and I'd love to see it bring a new audience to the original show.

I don't agreee with this video one but. I don's see season 4 being bland as you say. Personally It's my favorite season of the show. You say the episodes are mediocre but me, I see it most of the episodes enjoyable with great humr and writing. Even the specials are great including the Star Wars special which is not bland as you say it is. That special does a better job being a crossover than the Marrvel one. The Musical Cliptastic Countdown is crap though I'll agree with that. IMO Season4 is great and not bland.

Totally understand love for this season I just think it's weird even more than bad honestly and I still love the season

I think it's important to note too that no matter what the public consensus on an episode is, I bet you dollars to donuts that's going to be *somebody's* favorite episode. Maybe it just affects them in a weird way, or resonates with them in a way they weren't expecting, or maybe it just reflects their life of where they're at when they saw it. Maybe it just came out of time when they needed something, anything to distract them from what was going on in their lives. Maybe they just have different tastes than everyone else! All of that is valid. That's why when I hear creators talk about their shows, it's so wonderful to hear them approach episodes - not with, "Yeah, that episode sucked," but with, "I just wish we could have done more."

i like never watch episodes from season 4 because all of my favorites are from the first three seasons since those were the ones on netflix for most of the time i watched the show when i was younger so i’m interested to see this video edit: nice use of nerd ain’t no piñata at the end

I think Hamster and Gretel and Milo Murphy's Law are a fair bit worse than Phineas and Ferb and so much more often resort to unfunny jokes and watching original phinas and ferb in comparison is jarring. I loved this video though I've never seen actual criticism of phineas and ferb online and it was a pleasure to watch all the way through and I'm surprised it has so little views, thanks for making it
